ANT-MAN & THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA's Reported Runtime Makes It The Longest ANT-MAN Movie Yet

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's runtime has seemingly been revealed, and while it's no three-hour epic, it does look set to be the longest of the trilogy...

It looks like the runtime for Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been revealed, and the threequel is shaping up to be the longest Ant-Man movie yet - but not by very much!

According to a listing on Fandango, Quantumania will clock in at 2 hours and 5 minutes, taking it just past the first movie's 1 hour and 57 minutes, and sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp's 1 hour and 58 minutes.

Big studio blockbusters - particularly of the comic book movie variety - have been getting noticeably longer over the years, so we're a little surprised that Ant-Man 3 didn't run closer to the 2-and-a-half hour mark, especially since it's expected to set-up some major storylines as we move into Phase 5 and lay the groundwork for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Still, we're sure those who feel movies are "too damn long" in general these days will be pleased by this news!

Though this runtime does appear to be official, we've been fooled by placeholder listings on major sites before, so we'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

In Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023. A new trailer is reportedly set to debut online this Sunday (though we're had no official announcement), so be sure to keep an eye out.
