A new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released later today, but in the meantime, we have a gorgeous new poster for Peyton Reed's highly anticipated threequel.
The first Phase 5 story in the Multiverse Saga, the expectation is that the movie will usher in a new dynasty (see what we did there?) of storytelling as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars draw near. Likely serving as Kang the Conqueror's MCU debut, the latest instalment in the Ant-Man franchise will have much higher stakes than its predecessors.
On the poster, we see Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, and Cassie Lang all suited up and ready for action, while this Kang Variant's shadow looms large in the background.
Elsewhere, we see what appears to be the Quantum Realm's Chronopolis and a number of ships we're guessing form part of Kang's army. While the expectation is that this is the Kang, there's always a chance he'll be just another Variant; however, given his appearance, we're inclined to believe this is indeed the MCU's new big bad.
Take a closer look at this Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania poster below.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.
