Nothing worse than when a movie mentions another movie. What if DiCaprio was cast in a Marvel movie now? Unlikely yes, but if they did, it would make no sense.

Same as Winter Soldier when Cap has Star Wars on his list. So, does Samuel Jackson the actor exist in that world or....

@TheDarkKnight1939 I don't know, that bit in TWS was great; superhero movies can mention music, presidents, other popular celebrities/pop culture icons but not other movies? I mean Tommy Lee Jones mentioned General Patton in The First Avenger.

If anything it just confirms that DiCaprio won't be in a Marvel movie, which is not a shocker. He's very picky when it comes to projects; hence we don't see him in multiple movies evey year.

Personally, I think it should all be fictional, with the exception of Politicians. That needs to stay consistent.

Or just don't mention it at all so we don't have to think about it.

@TheDarkKnight1939 Fair enough! I think that actually works better in the DCverse.

@TheDarkKnight1939
I know its a slightly different scenario, but in 30 Rock, they cast Matt Damon as some pilot and then continuously referenced Matt Damon movies without being able to remember who the film's star was. It was pretty freakin' funny.
Obviously these movies are different, but with the tone Marvel have been showing thus far, I don't think having Leo in one of their movies (unlikely as that may be) would totally ruin the entire franchise.

I actually wouldn't mind if they did something like that lol. That's pretty clever/funny.

Not watching this. I only clicked because I just saw the first TV spot for the movie here in Germany, and it ended with Scott name dropping a certain team. I hadn't seen that before. Guess I can't watch TV anymore for the next two weeks... ^^'

This movie looks better and better every time they release something. Too bad by the time it comes out, we'll be able to piece everything together and watch the movie for free. Jeez, enough mini trailers and sneak peeks already. :)

I managed not to watch anything after the first TV spot for AOU, and so far I'm on track for Ant-Man as well. I just don't click any article with footage. It's hard though. :)

I know you didn't mean me. It confuses me as well when people do that, like with AOU. Either you want to watch what is offered and have no reason to complain, or you simply don't watch.
