Hank Pym WILL Be In ANT-MAN Confirms Director Edgar Wright
The Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon has confirmed that Hank Pym won't play a role in the creation of the titular villain in the highly anticipated sequel, but now Edgar Wright confirms that the character will indeed make an appearance in Ant-Man. Read on for details!
Following the news that Joss Whedon has decided to not have Hank Pym be Ultron's creator in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, io9 reached out to Ant-Man director Edgar Wright to find out whether or not that means the character won't be appearing in that movie either. "Just now, we were interviewing Edgar Wright about his new film The World's End, and he told us that we will, indeed, meet Hank Pym in Wright's Ant-Man movie." Various comments made in the past have led many to conclude that Ant-Man will feature Pym in flashbacks and a new hero - perhaps Scott Lang or Eric O'Grady - inheriting the mantle. What that means for The Wasp is unclear, but those fans upset at the news that Pym is being excluded from The Avengers: Age of Ultron can at least now breath a sigh of relief with this confirmation that the character is still heading to the big screen. What form that will be in remains to be seen! What do you guys think?
