The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, John Slattery, and Hayley Atwell, Ant-Man is set to be released on July 17th, 2015.

Characters clipped inside a letter/shape is just a design trend, I'd hardly call it an homage. The "A" is circumstantial.

Not even close.

That said, I'm sure that's what Marvel wants you to subconsciously think.

"Hey! Remember the Avengers? See this movie!"

Still not convinced.

It's hilarious how the Fantastic Four posters caught hell for having "From the Studio that brought you X-Men: Days of Future Past" and yet the Ant-Man posters are doing nothing but the exact same thing, using the same exact method from the successes of Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers and no one bats an eye? The hypocrisy is real folks.

Maybe the A stands for Deathstroke?
