@Jollem: still looks better than the worst movie of 2014: The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

I hope Ant-Man will be Marvel's first original standalone to make $1B after the success of Guardians of the Galaxy and after Avengers: Age of Ultron and I hope Marvel finally announces who plays Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, too.

I look forward to this, but I just don't see it having mass GA appeal.

But, it is Marvel, and it would be unwise to bet against it.

Would you guys call me crazy if I think this movie might actually turn out better than AOU? And/or have better critical reception? I have a feeling that's gonna happen

@rockerdude22 I think it will have a better critical reception overall. People aren't expecting anything from Ant-Man except a few laughs.

I wish Ant-Man would shrink, crawl up Jollems butt and remove whatever the hell is stuck up there.

@MrAisA Yeah, right now, people don't have huge expectations for Ant-Man. I think that'll help it and work in its favor, though. A big reason AOU wasn't as well received as the first Avengers movie was because people's expectations were way too high. On the other side, people's expectations for Ant-Man aren't as high, and I think that'll cause people to be surprised by it and like it more overall.
