I am glad that the "DCEU" (ugh) has been rebranded into Worlds of DC. That is brilliant and shows that at least some gives a [frick] about DC comic book movies. This has the potential to totally change everything about DC comic movies. They can make universe dimension hopping films where anything is possible. Restart the Nolanverse, Superman Red possibilities are endless. Then they can have all these universes cross over and have Crrisis on Infnite Earths happen organically.

@Comicbookart - It has not been rebranded as "Worlds of DC". That was just a phrase they were using to advertise DC content at SDCC. They had the same "Worlds of DC" banner at last years SDCC as well.

http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2018/07/dc-extended-universe-officially-titled-worlds-of-dc-not-quite/

Aisha Tyler and Zachary Levi referred to it as the "DCEU" multiple times at their panels.

@L0RDbuckethead - Smh. So many comic book sites. Can't keep track on what's true or not. lol.

Smh. Just also read on batman-news that not only is Worlds of DC not official but DCEU is still an unofficial brand. Smh. wtf.

I hate to say it but the sharks look straight out of "Finding Nemo"... they just have too much of a "face" on them.
Hopefully the other aquatic life doesn't look as silly.

@JonC - I'm hoping that it looks better in the final version, they got time to make it look better so I don't see why they wouldn't.

@JonC - I was thinking more Street Sharks..

@Pedrito - Ahh... Street Sharks. That's a lovely vintage, right there.

The only thing better would be a TigerSharks reference.

I don't know if it's just me, but while I like the rest of her suit, it looks like they tried way to hard to make her cleavage as big as possible. I mean just look at the 13th picture, its honestly makes me cringe because I was hoping we would move past the point where the super suits were made "sexy for sexy's sake". They literally could have just brought the neckline up and it still would have looked hot. Also that wig looks worse every time I see it, mostly because that color just doesn't work on her.

@JustAChillFan - personally I think it’s nice to see a female superhero suit that allows itself to be intentionally sexy. It’s rare in this day and age, because people mistake a female character who looks sexy with one whose only virtue is sexiness. Look ag how conservative the Captain Marvel suit is. A majority of young real world women wear shirts that show some cleavage, why can’t a superhero? Seems like a double standard to me, women do nothing but drool over male superheroes like Cap and Thor, with multiple gratuitous shirtless scenes. Women will go mad for Momoa walkin around topless for the majority of the film. Why can’t guys enjoy a sexy female costume anymore? She’s still a badass, she’s just sexy too. Which superheroes alwYs are. They’re usually drawn to be the peak of human body fantasy. That’s why the muscles and the boobs are always big.

@connorblaze - See I'm in the camp of it can be sexy or have sex appeal, but at least make it look like that wasn't the one thing you were going for. IMO, that's what her suit looks like when it seems it's main job is being a push up bra. I think it would look better if it wasn't trying to shove her tits up into he face but maybe that's just me.

@JustAChillFan - it feels more equal opportunity here with Mamoa being shirtless. So I don’t think it’s going to cause much controversy.

Supafairy - 7/27/2018, 10:17 PM
@JustAChillFan - But the suit and the cleavage is pretty much the same in the comics. I don't have an issue with that.
JustAChillFan
JustAChillFan - 7/27/2018, 10:29 PM
@noahthegrand - Oh I'm not saying it will, nor should it, I'm just saying that my personal preference would be to have her suit just go higher up to her neck, more akin to what Zero Suit Samus has. It would still look hot and sexy and all that but also would make more sense given she would be swimming around and it would be more "hydrodynamic". Like to me, that suit just says "look at me I've got tits", and while that is great, I'd prefer something not so in my face about it.
JustAChillFan
JustAChillFan - 7/27/2018, 10:33 PM
@Supafairy - Look, I'm not going to say that it's not because it is, but there are a lot of things from the comics that wouldn't work in live action. Vampirella for one would probably need a change, same as Namor being the badass he is in a very small speedo or the new 52 Starfire. Things that work in the comics don't always transfer well to live action when so many more people with opinions are now watching. There is already a big deal made about power girls boob window, you can be sure they won't include that if they ever do make a live action version of her.

@Stinkor1 - I prefer the lighter color from Justice League personally, although I don’t really get why he has them at all seeing as it’s not an Atlantean trait like I assumed

Minor gripe:

I hate that Aquaman looks like it was filmed with the same camera lens used in the JL reshoots.
