First Look At Iron Man On The Set Of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON?

After the end battle of Iron Man 3, Stark orders 

J.A.R.V.I.S. to destroy the remaining Iron Man suits under the Clean Slate protocol, a sign of his intention to devote more time to Pepper.


This left some questions, mainly, what will Tony wear in Avengers: Age of Ultron?


According to this set photo, looks like Tony is keeping his ‘protection’ above the waist (ok, bad joke). Surely we’ll see the new Iron Man suit(s) in action, cgi and all, when the first trailer hits (hopefully sooner). Will it be called the Mark XLIII (43)? Stay tuned...

 
Iron Man - Avengers 2

Minor changes aside, it is MK42 except red and gold instead of gold and red. It's just weird.

I remember doing a photoshop of the Mark 42 and turning the chest plate red. Haha looks like they had the same thing in mind.

I hated the Mark 42. The previous Iron Man suits could withstand a tank missile, an alien invasion, flying into outer space, and Mjolnir. The Mark 42 gets taken out by a truck.

Are we sure Shane Black watched the previous movies?

The Mark 42 was a prototype. It wasn't even a battle ready prototype; he had to throw his arm-missiles by hand. I don't know why everyone is shitting on it when the entire point was for it to be an incomplete prototype.

This is just one of the suits he'll wear in AOU. In IM, IM2, Avengers, he had about 3 suits for each movie. Then in IM3 he got like another 40 lol. I wouldn't be surprised if we get either Bleeding Edge or the black and gold armour.
