Ultron won't only try to tear the Avengers apart on the big screen later this month, but he will also try to destroy them on the Pinball table as well! Zen Studios has just announced that they will be making a new pinball table specifically designed after Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Marvel is so amazing in almost every avenue of entertainment, why can't they put out some sort of game or video game that could actually rival the awesomeness of Rocksteady's Arkham series?

@MPambassador

In fairness, how long did Rocksteady spend developing the first game? And even then it was really the second one that really blew up the franchise.

Marvel/Disney may have a nascent internal studio working on building a superhero franchise from the ground up in a similar way, but it may still be 2 years out from bearing any fruit and 5 years out from actually making an Arkham City-style splash.

And even then, WB has only figured out how to translate one of their characters to games. I don't want Marvel to just come out with a really good Iron Man game, but still have nothing for Spidey, Cap, Hulk, etc...

If they're smart (and I have no clue if they are on this), they're working on a Manhattan-wide sandboxy Avengers game where you can play as their original Six movie Avengers, plus Spidey, Daredevil, and a few others with great combat/movement mechanics for each and are going to time its release with Infinity Wars. AAA gaming can be as lucrative a business as movies or microtransaction mobile gaming, especially with a built in brand like Marvel. I just hope the people in charge at Disney know that.

I love pinball games, but Marvel needs to step up their video games. How can we go from good to great games like Marvel vs Capcom, X-Men Legends, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions to now just getting games available only on mobile devices. I guess we'll always have Marvel Heroes and Lego Marvel.
