In 10 days, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's culmination of a decade of epic, groundbreaking stories will finally be released!

As you can imagine, a movie featuring dozens of characters of vastly different sizes, can present certain challenges in terms of shot composition. The expanded IMAX aspect ratio of 1.9:1 gives the filmmakers the freedom to create a more immersive storytelling experience. In fact, having experimented with the format in prior films like Doctor Strange, the entirety of Avengers: Infinity War will utilize the IMAX screen to its fullest potential.

Check out the featurette below and let us know if you will watch the film on IMAX. Avengers: Infinity War will be released on April 27th 2018.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
