AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Named Favorite Movie Of 2018 By Rotten Tomatoes Users In Golden Tomato Awards

Black Panther recently became the first superhero movie to score a "Best Picture" nomination at the Oscars and now there's more good news for Marvel Studios as Avengers: Infinity War just scored a big win!

Earlier this month, we learned that Black Panther had been selected as Rotten Tomatoes' best movie of 2018 in the Golden Tomato Awards. Since then, the popular review aggregator has held a fan vote to name the Fans' Choice for their "Favourite Movie of 2018." 

Chosen from a pool of Certified Fresh movies, Avengers: Infinity War ended up topping the list in a top ten which also included blockbusters like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Mission: Impossible - Fallout along with smaller releases such as Roma and BlacKkKlansman. 

A total of 26.9k votes were cast and it's interesting to see that such a traumatising chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's history has been named #1 after we were forced to watch so many heroes die! Despite that, there's no denying that it's a very worthy winner.

Thats actually surprising to me considering it was in the 80s range (undeservidly sonce they has Ant Man 2 higher than that. And dont get me qronf i liked Ant Man 2 but higher scored than IW??) In anycase it was my favorite movie of last year so I caht really complain. However if you wanna ride the world of cbms then Wont You Be My Neighor was my favorite movie of last year.....WHICH WAS ROBBED FOR AN OSCAR NOMINATION GOD DAMMIT!!!!

Totally understandable. That beast of a movie was to the MCU what The Avengers was to superhero movies in general. And to imagine that we're only a few months away from its companion movie, which is still incredibly shrouded in mystery. What a time to be a fan...!
