AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR: New SPIDER-MAN Promo Art And Toys Further Fuel Iron Spider Rumors

Speculation has been running rampant about the capabilities of the Iron Spider costume in Avengers: Infinity War and now a new range of toys seemingly confirm that. We also have another round of promo art.

Avengers: Infinity War will put the spotlight on a lot of different characters but one fans are particularly excited about seeing in action is Spider-Man. We know from the trailer and TV spot that Peter Parker will wear both his Spider-Man: Homecoming suit and the upgraded version created by Tony Stark but will the latter have any additional capabilities? What about four extra arms? It seems that way!

As you can see below, we have a new piece of promo art featuring Spidey (click through the Instagram gallery to get to that) along with a toy which shows the Iron Spider suit sporting four more arms.

As you may recall, the Iron Spider costume from the Civil War comic book also featured those so it makes sense for Marvel to finally bring that to the big screen. This is also the second time those arms have been spotted as the LEGO sets for Avengers: Infinity War also showed Spider-Man rocking them. Are you excited to see them brought to a live-action setting? Share your thoughts with us below.

@Jackal - I didn't like Homecomng at all and hate the direction they decided to take with the character.

Never liked the iron Spider-Man suit. Someone said it in a previous comment and I agree, let him rock his regular suit for awhile after infinity war.

@Supercat6376 - I feel like this is more or less just gonna be used for high-altitudes / outerspace so he can breathe. Spidey switches between multiple suits all the time in the comics, I dont see why this would be any different.

I think the suit looks good in the film itself so I'm excited to see it in action

Still not a fan of that Iron Spider suit. Should’ve gone for a comic accurate look.

I guess after the Super Bowl ad, we can see why he would need the Iron Spider suit. Apparently he has trouble climbing that portal ring thing. The suit will probably help him climb it, while freeing up his arms and feet for fighting, etc.
