Thanks to Marvel Studios' decision to move Avengers: Infinity War up a week, the movie is closer than ever before and set to be released in theaters NEXT MONTH (it feels good being able to type that).

Merchandise for the highly anticipated release continues popping up online and the latest batch
is SH Figuarts' action figures based on Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Star-Lord, Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thanos, and Spider-Man. These are all incredibly detailed and give us a much better idea how each of the heroes (and the one villain) will look when they assemble on April 27th.

Each of the Instagram posts below has a number of images in the gallery, so make sure to click
through those for a close-up look at the costumes and weapons which each of these characters will have. Once you've done that, be sure to let us know your thoughts on them in the comments section below.

I'm genuinely curious to know the reason for the Guardians wearing the same outfits 4 years later. Probably the one visual choice for IW that I'm somewhat disappointed with. I totally understand Gunn's protectiveness and need for consistency, but part of the benefit of this is that whatever happens in IW, Gunn can dress them however he sees fit in GOTGv3, much like the variations he had between Vol 1 and Vol 2. Small potatoes but still noteworthy.

As much as I love BP, I'm actually a bit sad we'll likely never see the Civil War costume again. Easily one of the best CBM suits to date.

Glad to see Strange with the fingerless gloves, though I would've been happy if they kept some version of Waititi's

@OmegaDaGrodd - There's small potatoes changes here. Star-Lord's shirt is different.

@OmegaDaGrodd - True. Marvel wasn't thinking in sale toys... No one will buy a toy with the same visual.

@OmegaDaGrodd - Well technically Black Panther occurs one week after Civil War placing it in 2016 and he is wearing the same costume. Cap is wearing his old dirty Civil War costume.

I am sure plot wise they will explain why they haven't "upgraded". My guess is as follows:

Those are the Guardian Uniforms that everyone in the Galaxy knows them for. The way a police officer wears the same style uniform for work every day. And Quill's Tshirt and pants are different.

@OmegaDaGrodd - I was thinking the same recently. Would have been nice to see updated looks for them all.

I prefer the new suit. For me it makes the Civil War one look very overdesigned by comparison. Something about the traps/ shoulders area seemed really off to me as well. Disproportionate and too bulky looking.

I could do with either of the gloves for Strange. Throws the rest of the costume off for me. The yellow ones called too much attention. Maybe if the cape had more of the yellow lining like in the comics, it would have blended in better. These fingerless ones, I don’t know, it’s like two competing styles in terms of overall design.
