Jeremy Renner Suits Up As 'Hawkeye' On TONIGHT SHOW To Sing "Will Anyone Even Notice Me?"
Promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron on The Tonight Show, Jeremy Renner suited up as Hawkeye to show off his impressive singing voice as he warbles about being the most under appreciated member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. "I’m friggin’ Hawkeye, maybe I'm as super as they are..."
Unlike many of his teammates, Hawkeye is just a normal man armed only with a bow and arrow. You'd think that his bravery would earn him an increased level of respect, but the character has often been the butt of many jokes since the release of The Avengers in 2012. However, that will no doubt change after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron as Joss Whedon gives Jeremy Renner a pivotal role in the sequel, a relief after the hero spent most of the first movie under Loki's control.
Appearing on The Tonight Show last night, the actor suited up as the archer and sung a song about being Hawkeye to the tune of Ed Shereen's "Thinking Out Loud". He has a surprisingly great singing voice and the lyrics do a great job of poking fun at Clint Barton. The video also features some hilariously bizarre images of Hawkeye doing all sort of mundane activities such as cameoing in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and his Tinder profile.
