Kevin Feige Reveals That Future AVENGERS Movies Will Take Place In Outer Space
We still don't know if Earth's Mightiest Heroes will head to another galaxy in Avengers: Infinity War but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed that the team's future lies in outer space...
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has frequently teased some big changes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we head into Phase 4 and while we know James Gunn is being eyed to oversee the cosmic side of this shared world, it sounds like at least one existing franchise will also head into outer space. Surprisingly, that's going to be whatever comes next for The Avengers after the fourth instalment.
Talking at the CCXP Marvel panel in Brazil, Feige said: "If the Avengers survive, we will see more films with them in space. I love and would like to see more films in space." Captain Marvel's arrival will no doubt play a role in that and with the Skrulls on the way to the MCU and possibly villains from the Fantastic Four and X-Men franchises, it makes sense that Earth's Mightiest Heroes protect more than just Earth! After all, the events of Infinity War will make it clear that there's lots of threats out there.
