Im not a Nolanite lol im a lover of good films.

Blade is my favorite superhero movie, followed by Meteor Man.

But the best Superhero film from a technical aspect? (plot, theme, character arcs, etc) TDK, Spiderman 2 or V for Vendetta.

Showing respect?? lmao. Lets not lie to ourselves. Idont know who started the marvelite vs nolanite but it hasnt for a second stopped. I do see maevelites claiming neutral now that the Avengers was released but its far too late in the war lol

It's all good man, it's inevitable. This little "flame war" began when they began gloating about the movie making over a billion back in 2009, and talked shit about Iron Man, well, the tables have turned and THE AVENGERS smashed it at the BO and is cited from the majority of sources as being the best / greatest / most faithful CBM of all time.

**slaps forehead**

For best Superhero film ever made from a technical aspect (i.e. plot, themes, character arcs) should be TDK, V for Vendetta, Spiderman 2 AND Superman 2 Donner Cut.

@IM53 totally agree with your first post people need to stop bringing up Marvel in DC related movie threads and vice versa...can't we all just enjoy the fact that we're getting good movies based on comic book characters?

I loved IM.

And The Avengers has not bee hailed as the greatest comicbook movie. It was fun and explosive. Most are not talking about the movie minths after release like TDK was. Avengers has been admired for its spectacle, TDK for the story and acting. Substance beats out shiney objects every time.

This movie has too much demand and not enough supply! People still want to go see this in the cinema, but very few cinemas have it so they end up watching something else. I wanna watch this at the cinema at least once every fortnight. At least! Release this thing on DVD now or re-release it in the cinemas. [frick] it do the Director's Cut or Sp[ecial Edition and shoot some additional scenes with easter eggs for the fans. That'sd probably increase the Box office gross by 50% or more, depending on how exciting the easter egg. Put a Spidey referance or Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in there for one extra shot and everyone'd go see it again, just for that.

IgnurRant@ The Dark Knight had a story? Waitaminute, The Drak Knight had substance?! Sure. You need to watch more films.
