Chris Evans Dishes On Stan Lee And Reiterates "Sharing The Workload" On THE AVENGERS!

Offering up much praise for Stan "The Man" Lee, and his cameo in The Avengers, 'Captain America' actor Chris Evans also rehashes on sharing the workload in the superhero ensemble flick!

Talking with Fans Share, the actor behind 'Captain America' in the highly-anticipated assembly of Marvel's The Avengers, Chris Evans, discussed sharing the workload this time around; in addition to praising "The Man" Stan Lee. Also commenting on The Avengers essential plot, seemingly teasing the guaranteed sequel, read on below!

“It’s a lot easier now. Now that we’ve gotten past that first wave of Captain America and the press and all that madness and now we’re into The Avengers, where I get to share some of the work load, it’s become a lot easier.”

"[Stan Lee]’s fantastic. He did a cameo on the Fantastic Four films, so I’ve met him a few times, and he was just amazing. He’s a living legend. He’s got so much energy and so much personality and he’s so positive, always smiling and always cracking jokes. He really is one amazing human being.”

"There are a lot of growing pains that The Avengers have to work out in the first film but I’m not going to get too into detail because Marvel will kill me. So you’ll just have to wait and see the film in March ... May? ... May!”

Although we're fully aware Marvel Studios are developing "phase two" of 'The Avengers' assembly, as we approach the first film's release, I really like how Evans says "the first film," alluding that the sequel's plot has been at least discussed. Anyhow, reshoots went underway this week with confirmed appearances by Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, as well Clark Gregg and Tom Hiddleston.

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

Stan's cameo in Thor is my favourite. Although I did also like his cameo in The Hulk when he appeared with Lou Ferigno (spelling?).

So much winning!

Is it just me or do these actors say the same exact thing about doing cameos with Stan? It's like they are just spitting out lines from a script.

If 'Man of Steel' has the success Nolan's Bat-films have, then Marvel will have some ligit competition at the box office in the future.

Is this reality even real. Live action Avengers movie from a studio that for the most part has delivered on every front. Out of everything MOS is gonna be the hardest to wait for.
Stan,Bruce Timm,Led Zeppelin, everyone else who makes kicks ass. I'm sorry but the mighty Zeppelin are the undiputed GOATs in my eyes. (greates of all time) Just rememver you sometimes words have two meanings.

Avengers will slay all. Cameo in Captain. To recieve Medal of Valor from senator and is busy kicking ass instead of being pawn for the men who sat while the lines on the map move from side to side.

And then Stan goes "I thought he would be taller"

@sorcerer123

I do too wish him the best, as of matter of fact, I've seen all of his movies, except 'London' and I can tell he has some serious roles that are worthy of mention, I recently watched 'Puncture' and he was great as a drug addict !
I do like him a lot, specially in Captain America !

He didn't have a cameo in Captain America as he didn't create him. He only appears in films of characters he created.
