They should be ashamed of themselves for releasing these crappy posters. They can easily be done on Photoshop...

Simple, but nice. Captain America's looks great. Thor's hair should be yellow instead of black, though. He looks werider there with his black hair, since the armor has no detail; I believe it would be pretty hard to recognize him if you aren't familiar with that image/pose, lol.

hmm... they're good except for the Thor (why he's not blonde?) and hulk (face got [frick]ed up) ones.

a great start. I just wish designers who want to do this kind of work would push that minimalist vibe even way further. These are a great start but I'd love to see Saxon really boil it down and find what makes them who they are visually, and at their character core, or perhaps push the gestures and action further themselves as an artist, beyond tracing actor silhouettes and adding texture.

@NorrinRaddical - true thing. Tracing previously released pics and adding seems kinda... I don't know... too easy.

They look good but hulk does not have the same look as the rest because you can see his face. A profile might have been a better angle to allow for seeing the face without having to outline it in white.

Iron Man could still use some more detail. I like Hawkeye in this collection. The rest looks terrible in my opinion. They really need more work.

Lol these are mine :D What a shock to find them up here :P

Thanks for the good comments guys and I can give a back story.

These were done on sketchbook pro for iPad and I basically wanted to try out minimalist posters and stuff, just cause, well I thought it be interesting. The reason some are a little off is because I was just basically trial and error and experimenting. I don't have photoshop so I have to do with SBP. I am only starting out with these and they're my first attempts. I have no doubt many others can do this is less the time, less effort and even better than me, but hey I'm still proud with how I'm doing so far.

Thor's hair is something I've heard about being a bit odd looking, as well as Hulks face. Well cause it was minimalist. I started with Iron Man, then Thor, Cap, Hulk, BW and Hawkeye. Then I did Amazing Spider-man, Deadpool and then other Marvel characters....these other Marvel ones can be seen on my deviantart
http://mr-saxon.deviantart.com/

I will go back and edit/fix them and stuff

@comicaldisaster: Hey man, awesome work! Would you mind terribly if I made all of these into t-shirts? I'm seriously digging all of them.

That Cap one is [frick]ing DOPE. I'd wear it and the Hawkeye and Black Widow ones all the time!
