GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Is Marvel's Mystery 2014 Movie; THE AVENGERS 2 Set For 2015?

A very reliable source reveals that Marvel's mystery 2014 movie is Guardians of the Galaxy! But that's not all. With an official announcement expected at this year's Comic-Con, the site has also revealed some very interesting details as to what we should expect to see (including Thanos). Read on for details.

Latino Review,the same site that revealed that Thanos would be in The Avengers and that Marvel are currently hard at work on a big screen adaptation of Black Panther (which they originally believed to the studios 2014 film), have revealed that we should expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy on the big screen in 2014 alongside Captain America 2. This follows on from the recent news that Marvel had begun registering trademarks for various products featuring the characters. Apparently, the story will see the team visiting Earth during the 20th or 21st century with the use of time travel. Why? Well, in order to meet with the Avengers and take on some aliens apparently! An official announcement is expected at next month's San Diego Comic-Con and they also go on to reveal that not only is the script "incredible", but it will "lead up to" The Avengers 2 in 2015 and that Thanos WILL be in the movie. They also believe we should expect to see Nova, while the after-credits scene featuring Thanos was apparently build-up to both this and The Avengers sequel. More details can be found at the site by clicking the link below.

They are still doing Black Panther. I love guardians of the galaxy but really I'd have preferred a Doctor Strange movie first.

If they are indeed jumping back from the future, they may not actually focus on the recent roster of the team.

This sounds awesome! Will have to pick up some comics of theirs right away! :)

Besides that it will have Thanos probably in it! I mean come on what can be cooler than that!

Haters you do not know what you are talking about. Read some of their books before you judge stuff. If you don't want to, shut up because you don't know what you're talking about!

Didn't this site just announce Black Panther was the mystery Marvel 2014 movie a few weeks ago? Or am I remembering this wrong?

@superotherside Some of us aren't hating. We'd prefer something else, say Black Panther.

I'm trying to get more into the cosmic side of Marvel but I can't find Annihilation book 1 for a reasonable price! After I read the 3 Annihilation books, then I will read Nova, GoTG, and. etc.

This definitely sounds more like the original Guardians plotline that it does the current.Matter of fact. The original Guardians came back fro the 31 century chasing Korvac (who they had faced in their own time alongside THOR) who turns into a God named Michael in our time period.

When Michael is confronted, he proceeds to kill the Guardians and The Avengers with no problem whatsoever. The only reason either team survived the ordeal is because he regretted having to kill them and restores them to life before quitting life himself. The run is called THE KORVAC SAGA and I can easily see Marvel tying Thanos into that plotline somehow.

@Wolverinesfury I'd love a Hulk sequel. Do you think we'd ever get a Rulk vs HulK? I think marketing wise, they could really sell that like the black spider-man for Spider-man 3.

@blackandyellow

that can be the same for Dr Strange, Black Panther, Heroes for Hire and Ant-Man. GOTG getting a movie before Dr Strange, Black Panther, Heroes for Hire and Ant-Man imo is a insult cause they been in development for along time.

@superotherside

this is nothing about been a haters. we are upset cause the other characters like Dr Strange and Black Panther been in development too long GOTG has been fast track before the others.

Annihilation was one of the better series put out by Marvel. GotG is a good series. The only problems I see are with Rocket Raccoon (how are they going to present him?) and Groot. But, this will lead up to something amazing. Marvel has done a very, very good job. With the right actors and good script it will be fun. Now, if Marvel/Disney get FF, Spidey, Silver Surfer and X-men back in the fold, we could have ourselves some amazing movies/crossovers.

Sounds cool, hope its real! Not a big GotG fan, and already have my faves on the big screen (Cap, Hulk, and Thor...my other faves belong to other studios) so anything they put out without a 2 or 3 attached to the title will just be icing on the cake for me.
