Any idea on when the world premiere is? I read somewhere it was April 12 or something but that seems too early.

Irons: Yeah, it's April 11th. It's definitely early, but it's also good to hear they will screen it that early.

Oh yeah, maybe it will get some nice buzz. I guess a lot of the international releases are early relative to the US so it makes sense.

Anyway, I hope one of the theaters around here doesn't show it in 3D.

if you brake down Dc characters..you realize how corny they really are..
A millionaire lives in a dark cave wearing a bat suit recruiting little boys to be his side kick(perv0
A green guy with a magic lantern from another planet saving the world..any reason he doesn't have a green flashlight or something other that camping equipment
A person from krypton that gets his power from our sun(industructable) but pieces of his super planet he was born on can kill him..makes no sense!I guess Home Is where the Hurt is!!!
A blonde haired surfer from the California valley that thinks he can talk to fish...he's probably wiped out so much he's lose his mind!
A amazon woman that can make you tell the truth by tieing you up in her lasso...sounds pretty kinky to me..some sort of S and M!
the Flash is just a guy that had one too many red bulls and hawkman is a spokes person for KFC!!
..and cyborg is just an unfinished science project tha treceived a "c" grade!

@incredibleTalk: All superheroes are corny. I like DC as much as I do Marvel, but if you break down Marvel characters it doesn't sound THAT much better. Marvel has the edge because their characters aren't all running around in capes and tights, but still... it's not that much better:

- Wimpy, smart teenager gets bitten by a radioactive spider and gains spider-like abilities but can't make web

- Scientist gets hit by gamma bomb and becomes a green giant with super strength yet is almost always wearing purple pants

- Canadian badass gets supermetal attached to bones (and claws).... puts on gayest yellow spandex suit

- A HUGE blonde haired surfer from California valley that thinks he's a God and can call lightning and thunder.. (okay, he IS a God and he CAN call lightning and thunder lol)

- A wimpy yet heroic kid gets superserum and becomes a hero known as CAPTAIN AMERICA and wears the American flag as a uniform

- Quicksilver is just an NSYNC reject who had too many red bulls

- Angel is a closet gay who is a spokesperson for... God?

- And Cable is just an unfinished science project that received a..... "C" grade.

- 80% of the main characters' first and last names start with the same letter: Peter Parker, Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Green Goblin, Wade Wilson, Matt Murdock, Bucky Barnes, Stephen Strange, Susan Storm or corny as hell names like: Dr. Doom, Magneto, Cyclops, etc.

Comics DO have at least some degree of corny and cheesiness to them. But that's why we love them! They tend to have the perfect blend of corny, cheesy, reality, and grit most of us like.
