THE AVENGERS Super Bowl Spot Among Others To Feature Bonus Mobile Content

The world’s leading mobile discovery company, Shazam, have announced that they'll offer "unique mobile content" for several Super Bowl TV spots, such as John Carter & The Avengers

A famous mobile discovery company by the name of Shazam recently announced that their Shazam for TV event, coinciding with this Sunday's big Super Bowl XLVI game, will amplify several anticipated TV commercials with "unique mobile content and valuable offers" in real-time. And now Stitch Kingdom reps have confirmed that among those ads are the much-anticipated TV spots for Disney's John Carter and The Avengers movies.

Among those participating in the ‘Shazam for TV’ experience will be Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios for both John Carter (March 9) and Marvel’s The Avengers (May 4) as confirmed to us by Disney, although Disney stopped short of offering any clues as to what the blockbusters’ content will be. Walt Disney Studios recently teased that it will be offering viewers the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a trip to next year’s Super Bowl in conjunction with its John Carter ad.

Viewers who have Shazam installed on their smartphones will be able to use the app during The Big Game to enter sweepstakes for major prizes, get additional information about a brand or product, view additional special content, download free music and more. Advertisers integrate Shazam for TV to extend their commercials to the second screen, creating a custom follow-on experience to achieve their goals and engage viewers.

For example, according to an excerpt from Shazam's press release, when people use Shazam to tag a 30-second spot, they can unlock additional content or shop from their couch. And, since it is saved in their “my tags” list for later, it is automatically “bookmarked” to view anytime and anywhere.

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

Is it me or in the footage that TheSpiderAssassin posted of Loki throwing Tony Stark out the window look messed up. Why is Stark being pulled away and then it shows Loki pushing him out the window. Weedon better fix that before the movie comes out. lol

@dahamma It's like that in the trailer too. Even more obvious after witnessing it in the animated gif.

But hey, I said the trailer wasn't finished where the cars were exploding. And now that we see the the superbowl teaser with the air-bikes blowing up the cars, I was right. So, maybe this lazy [frick] up isn't actually IN the film as well. Maybe they did it over when they saw it. Didn't they do re-shoots?
