Shortly after production on Batgirl got underway, a rumor did the rounds that Killer Moth was set to make his big-screen debut as one of the film's villains. The report stemmed from an IMDB listing so we didn't give it much attention, but it's now been confirmed that the character does (well, did) appear in the now scrapped movie.
Martial artist and Stunt Combat Performer Jules Wallace has taken to Instagram to reveal that he stood-in for Killer Moth (Douglas Russell is believed to have been cast in the role) in Batgirl, and even shared some behind-the-scenes photos featuring the distinctive head tattoo this take on Drury Walker would have sported.
"Doesn't seem much point keeping quiet about this now and sucks we won't get to see it on screen, but here you go," Wallace wrote. "Doubled 'Killer Moth' in Batgirl, along with my pal Stevie who doubled Commissioner Gordon. Quite a long chaotic shoot but we had a great time and glad to see many of the US and European cast and crew left with a love of Glasgow and Scotland."

Brendan Fraser's Firefly was the principal antagonist, so there's a chance Barbara Gordon (Leslie Grace) would have faced-off against Killer Moth early on in the movie when she was still getting to grips with her new crime-fighting career (he was the first villian Babs defeated in the comics).
We probably will learn some more details about this movie in the coming months, but as of right now, Warner Bros. Discovery has no intention of releasing Batgirl, and there's a good chance it will never see the light of day.
