None of these shitty old Batman films are even close to all 3 films in the Nolan trilogy.

All of the first franchise Batman films utterly sucked except for the 1st one which was just disappointing but cool to see on the big screen at last. The Christian Bale films were the only really good Batman films. To put any of the first franchise films ahead of any of the Nolan films is disrespectful.

I'm sure Batman vs Superman will be greater than all of them for the mere fact that it is primarily a Superman film. Superman > Batman

I wonder why Burton didn't choose Alec Baldwin for Batman? He seemed like a better choice over Keaton at the time. Because all 3 worked on Beetlejuice. Even though Keaton owned the role I just always wondered.

M72, I almost completely agree except I don't see how anyone can put returns above the first one. I used to be TDK before Begins but the more time goes by, the more I can see your reasoning on that.

@skaarjones surely you don't mean a better representation of the comic character. If you prefer that version that's fine but burtons 2 were brilliant films that were much closer to Batman in the comics.

i like the feel of the movie, the music,a dark take on the penguin & for me the sexiest big screen catwoman ever.

that end scene where the penguin dies & the penguins lead him into the water was fantastic.

Batman '89 was and will forever be the shit.

Correction...

1. Batman
2. The Dark Knight
3. Batman Begins
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batmam Returns
6. Batman Forever
7. Batman and Robin

And, if I were to include animated movies I would put Mask of the Phantasm and Under the Red Hood in 4th and 5th place respectively.
