We recently got our first look at the trailer for DC's animated adaptation of Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola's Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, and now the box art for the Blu-ray release and a full breakdown of the special features that'll be included have been revealed.

Plus, it's been confirmed that the next DC direct-to-video animated feature will be Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay.

Gotham By Gaslight is set in the 1800s, and pits the Caped Crusader against none other than Jack the Ripper. Though not marketed as such upon its release, the comic is considered to be the first of the "Elseworlds" stories, which take DC characters out of their canonical settings and into alternate timelines or realities.

It would be so awesome if the animation matched the art style of the cover. I know there's a certain charm to using classic cartoon style animation, but I think it's cheapened the look some of DC's animated movies. I'd quite like to see a 3D animated one in the style of Beware the Batman, well, maybe not using that same art style but I liked the tonal look of that show.

Oh God, another animated movie that somehow has to do with either Batman or characters from the batman-verse. I'm looking forward to Gotham by Gaslight but I wish the next one after that was something more different such as I dunno a Green Lantern Corps movie.
