Just over a week from today, you can buy Jay Oliva and Ethan Spaulding's new animated feature Batman: Assault on Arkham on Blu-Ray and DVD. With the release at hand, Warner Bros. have released a clip, in which we see the 'Suicide Squad' and Amanda Waller have a chat.

In Batman: Assault on Arkham, set in the same universe as the Batman Arkham games, when the government teams up a group of supervillains with the code name Suicide Squad and forces them to break into Arkham Asylum to bring back top secret information the Riddler has stolen, Batman soon becomes involved. But things go from bad to worse when one of the Squad (Harley Quinn) frees the Joker, who has the means to not only blow up the asylum, but most of Gotham City as well.

After a couple of let downs from dc animation, this felt like a rejuvenation. Great flick. Nice to know we are back up to normal standards in the animation department.

Ya that's the Amanda Waller I know and love not the skinny run way model New 52 was trying to push down our throats. In the words of Foxy Cleopatra "She is a whole lotta woman!"

I thought it was pretty good. The dialogue was a little iffy at first for me but it progressed. Also, Neil McDonough for Deadshot kinda bothered me though.

And for those that complain about Amanda Waller being skinny in the New 52 you ever stop to think that, with it being the beginning of her career, she'll become fatter as time goes by?

I found the film enjoyable, it's a very adult film with a mostly serious tone, but there was a lot of hilarious humor in it too though.

I liked this movie, felt like they were going for a B-movie vibe and that really worked with this villain centric film.

No one talks about how this animated Batman looks better because he has black trunks added back into his visual template.
