Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.


The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

So good. "Gotham's Reckoning" and "Rise" are the stand outs to me.

Definitely has the feel of being the best Trilogy ever...

@batfan I agree....I can't listen to soundtracks that are songs without a purpose to the movie....except Bonds intro songs they are usually good.

Ok Damn that's good.

I love how some of the tracks have this Minimalist thing going on.

I love how Nolan and Co. always go outside the box with everything, Visuals, Music...
Ahh Its all just so exciting.

Does anyone know if this is even eligible for an oscar nom? Its sounds like he's taken a lot of samples from Begins and TDK. Its seems like they'd try to ding him for that... I hope not because it all sound so good!

These scores are good, and Gotham's Reckoning is a stand out, but isn't it a little early to call it best soundtrack of the year. Lord of the Rings score by Howard Shore is still my favorite movie soundtrack. So, I expect The Hobbit to have the best soundtrack of the year, since Howard Shore is doing the score.

On Thin Ice and Gotham's Reckoning are totally my favorites. On Thin Ice reminds me of Blade Runner's soundtrack, which is a good thing!
