There have been MANY complaints from fans about the fact that Ben Affleck has been cast as the new Batman in Zack Snyder's upcoming movie, with one of the main ones being that the 41 year old actor is buff enough to play the Caped Crusader. Well, a new report indicates that the Argo star is already hard at work getting ready to take on Superman in 2015! "A source tells Us Weekly that the actor, director and father of three has been working hard to get buff -- training two hours a day to transform his physique." So, that should at least put some minds at ease! As you can see from the photo above, Affleck has had no trouble getting into shape in the recent past and Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt is the perfect example of an actor who has completely transformed their physical appearance for a superhero role. What do you guys think? Will Affleck's Batman be more than enough of a match for Henry Cavill's Superman?

Affleck is going to kill it. He was already in intimidating shape in The Town. I can't even imagine how scary buff he's going to look as the Bat.

as far as im concerned, Zack has a homo erotic phillia when i comes to his movies. big nuscled burly men are all the joy for snyder, affleck will be made to look a match for cavil that i have no doubt in and i think that will be batflecks saving grace in mos2.

Him not being buff enough is the stupidest reason to doubt him.

Christian Bale was bloody 55kg when he was cast as Batman, he was living off an apple and a can of tuna a day while shooting The Machinist.

@JediPhilosopher That's because there is no such thing as the "perfect" Batman. Like there isn't the "perfect" Wonder Woman. It's just an ideology and sometimes you have to accept that there's more positives than negatives and find acceptance.

Bruce is drawn to be the epiotme of masculinity. He has the jaw of Colton Haynes, the hair of Tyler Hoechlin, the body of Joe Manganiello ... it's all seperate parts but you won't find ONE actor that looks exactly like Batman. Artist's have involvement in that too.

OMG, people complaining about Affleck not LOOKING like Batman? [frick] that, I don't give a shit who plays him as long as they get him right...I could even have M.Night Shyamalan PLAY Batman if done right...I don't give a shit.

I don't expect anything from this movie because IMO this isn't even presented as a sequel...only problem is: it is a [frick]ing sequel.
Whatever the case, I'm pretty sure it will be an enjoyable movie just like MOS. And in terms of B.O. we all know what movie is making the most money in 2015.
