This is JackyTimish here once again,

I would like to start of saying this is not a troll debate, and I am not a troll,I have serious opinions and serious comments and I have an education.

Yesterday,I sadly came across another article about the film "The Dark Knight Rises".This article involved Anne Hathaway who is playing the new so called "Catwoman".

In this article she goes on explaining the extreme conditions it was to be involved in such a role, but a couple words she said sparked a fire in me no volcano can spit faster.

"The Catwoman suit. It was a psychological terrorist"

A terrorist, she has just used that word, have you in any mind know what this means. No wait let me go on to what else she said...

"..the suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit ... it dominated my year"

So have you met one before,If so did they change your thoughts or life? Did anyone of them dominate you?

So what does this have to do with "terrorist",maybe she could have not used a simply less subjective word how about...

"The Catwoman suit. It was a psychological factor"

Does that sound better now, because I agree so,since I know many people are still sensitive around that subject even till today. The standards of such a word is "mind over matter".

Oh how about Christian Bale, remember him? Lets see how he's doing when it comes to interviews also...

"I was starting to see stars and I said, 'I have to take this off'. And thank God..."

Wait why are you thanking God himself, what does he have to do with this? Anything nope just said the word because it was out there, what about anyone that does not believe in "God".

While I'm still on this topic lets take a look at some other stars, how about...Andrew Garfield. He is playing the new spider-man guy in the reboot, how is he with interviews? Anything controversial?Nope nothing there he is just simply having fun talking about Spider-Man,nothing too serious or heavy, just some soul depriving words that burn through our damned minds.

Maybe some of them should look up on setting an example of what words are proper to use for this generation in mind. Are we going to have kids running around on the street screaming the words "God" and "Terrorist".Gosh lets just hope not at all.Still from politics we could add..."We have been under the control of words, these words coming from the rich and powerful,no one shall have a meaning but a day shall come these words reckon upon us."

Despite all this I still look forward to seeing the slow drowning river of success for "The Dark Knight Rises".No matter wretched it might come too in the minds of people.

This is JackyTimish here,if you have anything else to add please comment on this debate,I look forward to seeing all the intelligence gathered around this topic.

Hathaway is using an extreme term to convey her pain in the suit. Nothing wrong with that. It's called a "metaphor" (they teach you that in Elementary). You seem to be the only who has a problem with that. And the Bale remark.... he's not forcing a religion on you and quite frankly, "God" is basically a metaphor nowadays.

I did read your article, Jacky. I gotta give it to you, I just got punked! What made me feel better, was all the comments from my fellow CBMers! But keep up the good work!

Mmmmm ... chicken!

Actually I was simply making a point. Not only was I incredibly harsh, and used offensive language, I aimed it directly at you, which makes it much worse than either of those actors' comments, yet you remained passive in my expression of an opinion.

You have no business in deciding how people should and shouldn't talk.

And that bullshit in your response about a 'future of corruption'... what is that? Newsflash: we live in corrupt times right now. Corruption has existed since the dawn of humanity. You can't perceive a good deed without a bad one to compare it to. Without bad, there is no good, and without wrong, there is no right.
And what they said was by no means 'corruption'. It was metaphoric expression.

It's like when people get angry at someone and say "I'll kill [them]" 99.9% of the time they don't literally mean they're going to murder the person who angered them, they're just expressing their anger.

And if you can't understand that, then I'm sorry, but your 'education' has failed you.

lol, You're one to talk— after that "Skrillex" slip-up the other day. Stop digging yourself a hole. Delete this article. Pretend like it didn't happen. We'll pretend too. Give yourself a second chance. This article will haunt you like a "psychological terrorist". Don't be the dunce we all think you are. C'mon friend, let's put the past behind us. You can make things right again. I believe in you!

Seriously, take 3D's advice, just delete this article and that stupid comment on the article that inspired this one. Pretend like none of this happened. It's just getting sad.

"Are we going to have kids running around on the street screaming the words..."
kids? KIDS! HOW DARE YOU USE THE WORD "KIDS"!!!

What do you take the children of the world for...young goats?
The nerve of you. You couldn't use any other word to refer to human youngsters besides kids. THEY ARE HUMANS NOT GOATS, DANGIT!!!! Jeez...people these days...

@JackyTimish - If you do not need an education, you at least need a job or more productive hobby. This is by far and away the biggest waste of editorial space I have see to date. The things you wrote up there are so dumb, I am amazed you know how to turn on a computer.

I would suggest not visiting this site anymore if quotes from actors are getting your panties in a bunch, but that won't help you. No matter where you go, your unrealistic, childish, and just plain moronic sensabilities will be assaulted by reality (I am saying you, not people, because nobody capable of independant thought shares your view).

This is not a debate. You are so incredibly out of touch with reality and society that you need either an intervention or shock therapy.

oh so you do understand the notion of a metaphor because I thought you simply didn't know what it was hence the reason you wrote this crappy article.

Andrew Garfield recently used the word "fag" in an interview, but given the context it is immediately clear that the manner in which it was used was not meant to be offensive.
people use words as expressions of emotion, regardless of whether or not the meaning of the word is meant to be taken literally or metaphorically. the use of a word must be taken in context before being judged as "incorrect", and there is nothing inherently wrong with the words "terrorist" or "god", nor can i see them as being offensive in the way they were used by those actors.
ItsATrap
ItsATrap - 6/20/2012, 12:11 PM
sorry, the whole "soul depriving words" thing was a little vague, considering you spelled out the other actors' "mistakes" but only alluded to him by making it seem as if you believe there to be nothing explicitly wrong with what he said, only that there was nothing of substance to it.
because i saw the interview and at no point does he mention anything about specific people not having souls, so you may want to redefine how you think of irony (or sarcasm, as it were).
ItsATrap
ItsATrap - 6/20/2012, 12:12 PM
no, this is an example of freedom of speech and "Artistic license" to say what you want and not have it blown out of proportion by someone who doesn't understand the meaning of the word "context"

This is a joke right? Am I on punk'd? Is this going to change quickly to a close up of the girl from The Exorcists right?
I normally don't get into these things, but how could you even like Comics or CBMs with logic like that. Where is your article about the tight suits that women characters wear?
Thor is a god. How can you stand that? Isn't there only one God? Odin Loki?!?!?
Isn't magic satanic? I know you wont stay to read this cause you heard someone say "Damn" and you have to reprimand them. Cheers (oh wait that refers to drinking and we cant have anyone do that)

ralfinader - 6/20/2012, 12:20 PM
@Jacky - What you wrote up there was an editorial. You asked yourself questions and answered them yourself. Down here in the comments is where any debating can occur, and the fact that you still are the only one daft enough to believe the silliness you believe should be an eye opener. You should take everything written on this page, not by you, and read them together without thinking of a response. Just soak in the criticisms, insults, etc. and realize you are alone in this viewopoint you suffer from, and let it all go. If you can't, there is no place you can go to avoid the words that get you annoyed or angry enough to write a freaking editorial about it. No place at all, short of a Tibetian monestary where everyone has taken a vow of silence.

It's a nice fact of life that today we are free to say anything we want. As the Joker would say it was a "very poor choice of words" by Anne hathaway. Nothing to get upset about. I won't force people to use words they don't want to use, as that'd be a very authoritative streak.

I just had to read this again...REALLY!?!?! This has to be a joke. Good one Site Admins. Now knowing that this is a joke I can laugh at it. "I have an education" LOL If you go to pre school you have an education. Which is clearly the case here.
