Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.


At the MTV Movie Awards last night, exclusive footage from Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the his Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises aired. Revealing tons of new footage of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, Tom Hardy's Bane and more. Down below, you can cast your vote on what you thought of the footage.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

I'm not trying to be a hater, but nothing about this preview gets me stoked to see this movie. I will see it, but this didn't build the hype for me.

That was great, I'll admit. It settle my doubts about Anne Catwoman a little. ANd I have to say I like how theyre keeping Bane a mystery like they did in advertising the Joker for TDK.

From the little that we've heard, I really like this Bat voice. Its sounds like it was in Begins. TDK voice was too, idk it was overkill lol

He didn't move. He didn't even flinch.

I get that it's some kind of fancy custom body armor, but it can dissipate kinetic energy now?

If the shot came from a rifle I doubt that he would be standing there, completely unfazed.

That was great. I think Hardy's performance as Bane will make people forget that he's not 7 foot tall. Cannot wait for TDKR! ! Batman ftw!!

if i remember in Batman: Gotham Knight they introduce a new device that deflect small-arms fire. the device uses electromagnetic force field maybe they might introduce that in the movie. instead of Batman its Bane who got the device. maybe u are right thats why Batman end up using the EMP gun.

@Bladezer0 and @Just1Superguy - both Superman and Clack Kent cameo would never happen. Nolan's crap says that tdk tdkr has its own universe (w/o any other superheroes)

disappointing to say the least,i've seen nothing of this movie that actually blows me away,apart from a few shots of the bat.
