In the poll I have listed the top TV and Film actors I think that could portray Bruce Wayne in the Batman vs Superman movie. I personally think Warner Bros should cast an older looking Bruce Wayne, an actor in his 40's could easily pull off the Billionaire playboy.



I personally like the idea of having Matt Damon as Bruce Wayne.

Those are some very random choices. You should flip through fancasts and put some of the more popular picks from those as options too

That is not realistic. Weigh in, who is popular in the present, but hasn't had a immense break out role yet. I gurrantee since it was the way they went with Cavill, it will be the same with batman. Gosling is not the worst choice at all, but it seems he has no interest in a role with that much mainstream to it.

Joe Manganiello.

He came second to Cavill for Man of Steel.

I'm betting he is high on Snyder's list of candidates.

Heard him recently on a Nerdist podcast. Lot more to the guy than I realised and he is major comic geek. Funny guy too.

I had never thought of Boreanaz, but I think he could work. Don't think of him in Bones, think of him in Angel. He might be too old, but he's the best of this list. And really, what's the deal with this Ryan Gosling nonsense. That's just wrong, he would be terrible.

To be frank, Bomer is too pretty and jolly for Bruce Wayne, and Armie Hammer can't act.

If you want a Batman between the age of 30-35, and someone unknown,
I'd suggest: Barry Sloane

Agree man 100.I would love to see a real Bruce Wayne.Stop casting those blonde guys.I think Matt Bomer or Ian Somerhalder would be great.But again they should cast a guy based upon his characteristics and of course his acting skills.And not so much of his build as much as height.

I think they need a Batman around Cavill's age.

Most of the guys that come off the top of my head are too old.

I'd really like to see a young Batman again. Not because I want to see the origin again, I'd just like to get someone young enough to do the fantastic fight scenes like Arrow. Although as long as they do the origin in flashbacks while's being Batman (like Arrow) then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

If they make me watch another Batman origin story that takes him an hour and half or more to be Batman that's going to be sad.

Considering the fact that traditionally Bruce & Clark are supposed to look very similar (having covered each others back in various secret identity hijinks) then a Superman actor could very easily be a Batman actor. The real difference between the two characters is their personality. That's where acting comes in, you know, that 'pretending to be someone your not' thing that actors do.

As for Joe M having to slim down... what?. Bruce/Batman has always been described and drawn as a physically imposing guy. Bale had the acting chops but he always looked so fragile.

Be honest, If faced with them both, which one would you rather fight, Christian Bale or Joe M?

All of those choices either are too old or suck. Since Batman and Superman are going to be in the same movie they should be at least somewhat close in age. I do want Batman to be a little older but still close. Joe Mangellio is a decent choice because he is ripped and seems like a badass. Karl Urban, Eric Bana, and Anson Mount would be great choices if we were to have an older Batman but I am not sure if that is going to happen.

Scott Adkins could be good but I want him to play Daredevil but if they did cast him as Batman I wouldn't mind. People need to stop with this Ryan Gosling, Matt Bomer, and Armie Hammer shit because those are terrible choice for the Caped Crusader.

thank you @metropolisman, finally someone actually understands that size matters. look at batman in the dark knightreturns... batman was bigger than he's ever been! he was HUGE. and coincidentally enough, the batman insignia on the leaked logo is the same insignia of batman in dark knight returns.

HOWEVER YOU SLICE IT... its not a justice league movie and me just as tons of other people all over the world are upset about that. and we wont be happy untill our hope in seeing justice league is restored. and i dont mean restored in 4 frigin years (2017 justice league rumors)
