An epic, action packed new trailer for the highly anticipated video game has been released and it gives us our first look at Batman in action as well as characters like Hugo Strange, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Two-Face. Now with working sound!

Batman: Arkham City expands upon the gritty, atmospheric scenery and characterization that catapulted Batman: Arkham Asylum to the forefront. It is set in a sequestered section of Gotham City that has become the home for the criminally insane. Players are introduced to a brand new story that bring together an ensemble cast of characters and villains from the Batman universe, as well as enhanced gameplay features that build upon the ultra-realistic Dark Knight experience that fans enjoyed with Batman: Arkham Asylum.




Batman: Arkham City is set to be released on October 18, later this year!

maann i love how he gets around! Gliding, Diving and grapple! THats good to see because movement is important in big sandbox games. Like infamous, sure its a fun game but getting around took forever and was boring. This on the otherhand? GAME OF THE YEAR material

Since when can Batman fly? and create concussive outward blast when he lands? I understand gliding (kinda), but it looked like he was actually moving upward at times...

I'm not being a smartass. I'm a Marvel guy and really didn't know he could do that...

Come on dude he's batman lol, Batman has fault with the like of Darkseid and other stronger enemies and he is still kicking lol He is like the folk Legend of John Henry in the superhero world or better yet David standing up against alot of Goliath lol

Lets not forget he is a comic book character so he can do anything lol

AlcoholicA, He was using air currents, you could do the same in Mario 64, you swoop down and then up as for the ground pound... yeah bit weird, but he probably just sprayed explosive gel on his fist like in the end of Arkham Asylum.
