Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now streaming on Disney+, and Marvel Studios has debuted a new poster, TV spot and featurette to mark the occasion.

The artwork reuses some of the imagery from previous one-sheets, but there's a striking new look at Shuri (Letitia Wright) in her new Panther costume alongside Namor (Tenoch Huerta) at the centre.

The featurette gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the VFX used to allow the "Feathered Serpent God" to take to the air, and includes interviews with Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann and Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding.

The critically-acclaimed MCU sequel took in a very respectable $880M+ at the global box office, but didn't quite manage to join its predecessor in the $1 billion club. It did pass the likes of Captain Marvel and the first Wonder Woman to become the highest-grossing female-led superhero movie in U.S. box office history, however.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

@pitbull76 - Yeah, this was handled infinitely better than what happened after Carrie Fisher passed. Both nigh impossible situations though.

@The1st - yea I mean I didn't think it would hold up to the first one but in my opinion I was wrong it comes damn close. Also I agree with your Carrie Fisher statement.

Taking it in now.

Gota say, not enough credit was given to Ludwig's score in the reviews I've seen.

Also I only got it today that Namor's name had meaning in the way he took it. Was it so in the comics..that was awsome.

Definitely the best of phase 4...

@UnderBelly - Was it so in the comics

It probably was just Roman backwards but not really a part of the backstory in the books.

@Reeds2Much - Yeah I think it's just Roman spelled backwards. The movie just decided to give the name meaning.

@Reeds2Much - Then I much prefer Coogler's and Co reinterpretation.

@UnderBelly - Ludwig did immaculate work here. As good as the first film. I think he deserved more praise

@GhostDog - The sound in the scenes where she takes the herb all the way up to her dropping in on M'Baku had my hairs on end.

Set design and costumes were top tier. A lot of small things missed here and there but overall a 6.5/7.0

@WakandanQueen - I couldnt tell you much about Namor besides the real basics. But the way he was written and played in this film definitely made me a fan. Coogler does a damn good job with the antagonists in his films.

@GhostDog - Yeah the way Namor literally skipped in the air was really entertaining and set him apart from other flying characters.

The best film of Phase Four (not that the bar is high on this lol) hands down. I wish they did a few things differently but overall? Very well done under the worst of circumstances.

Saw this on a flight last week and get to see it on the TV at home this week. Honestly, not tremendously impressed and I'm a fan. Maybe I'll feel differently second watch. I felt the same about Shang Chi at first but then again, I was shitfaced at first viewing.
