Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will soon pause shooting until the New Year, but a handful of set photos have now been shared online confirming another major casting addition. As you can see below, Lake Bell will be part of Ryan Coogler's sequel coming off her role as Black Widow in What If...?
The actress, who also voices Poison Ivy in HBO Max's Harley Quinn, is no stranger to on-camera roles and counts like the likes of No Escape and Wet Hot American Summer among her credits.
It remains to be seen what sort of role she'll play in the Black Panther sequel, but Bell is a real talent and someone Marvel Studios was no doubt keen to enlist after working with her on What If...? Very little has been revealed about what Coogler has planned for the movie following Chadwick Boseman's death, so we can't even begin to guess who it is she's playing here.
Hopefully, more will be revealed soon, though we're not anticipating getting any sort of first look this side of Christmas. After all, Marvel Studios has plenty of other movies to promote before this one.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
