In a recent interview with MTV News, 42 actor Chadwick Boseman was asked to confirm rumors of him playing the Black Panther in one of the upcoming Marvel films... and he gave the usual "Can't say! Secrecy! Marvel Snipers!" response.

Laughing off the question he said “I know nothing of it, I have no knowledge of this [...] It’s not out of the question, but I have no direct knowledge of this.” Remember when Paul Rudd gave a similar response before he was cast as Scott Lang in Ant-Man? I'll leave this up to you! Maybe this Saturday at Comic Con it will be revealed that there will be a Black Panther film and Boseman has the role!

What do you think of this? Do you believe him? Would you want to see Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther? I would! Sound off below!

This guy is a hell of an actor. He would make an amazing T'Challa.

He was great in '42' and the James Brown biopic looks more than promising...

A big "NO" for Boseman as Black Panther. Why are many favoring him as BP?
He can act,sure...that alone does not make him good for the role.
He DOES NOT have the right look of T'Challa. He's way too boyish looking.

BP needs to look very manly, very intimidating by just his presence alone.
Chadwick isn't physically as impressive as needed for the character.
Gym time won't cut it,not while there are others solid actors that are in better shape both in body & face.

If llack Panther is expected at the earliest not until 2017 -why would we expect anyone to be attached to that role in 2014? Seriously, folks -stop asking -it's way too early.

Who said that BP first appearance in the MCU is gonna be in his own movie?

Panther in this sh*t! And my dollars will be going to see him as the legendary James Brown August 1st weekend. He's great with a fantastic cast behind him, can't lose on that one.

He would be a great Black Panther. He also could be a great Black Lightning or Icon. But DC Comics will never make either of those last two movies. I think with Disney and Marvel now making three movies a year. Black Panther has to be one of the movies.
