Production resumed on Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever last month after a short hiatus, and a new photo from the Atlanta set has now been shared online. According to several different sources, the snap was taken during the filming of a scene involving Namor and/or his Atlantean warriors.
It's difficult to make out any details, but the people in the photo are definitely... shooting in a water tank! Hopefully, more images from the set will follow.
Namor, The Submariner, has been rumored to be introduced in the Black Panther sequel for quite a while, with Narcos Mexico actor Tenoch Huerta reportedly taking on the role. That's yet to be confirmed, but reliable leaks have indicated that the story will revolve around Wakanda going to war with the forces of Atlantis.
Official plot details are still under wraps, but we have been assured that the MCU sequel will honor the late Chadwick Boseman while continuing the legacy of his character, T'Challa. We may now know how Marvel and director Ryan Coogler intend to achieve this, but it's quite spoilery, so click here if you want to know more!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
