A new photo from the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has found its way online, and while it's difficult to make out many details, the image reportedly teases Namor and/or his Atlantean warriors.

Production resumed on Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever last month after a short hiatus, and a new photo from the Atlanta set has now been shared online. According to several different sources, the snap was taken during the filming of a scene involving Namor and/or his Atlantean warriors.

It's difficult to make out any details, but the people in the photo are definitely... shooting in a water tank! Hopefully, more images from the set will follow.

Namor, The Submariner, has been rumored to be introduced in the Black Panther sequel for quite a while, with Narcos Mexico actor Tenoch Huerta reportedly taking on the role. That's yet to be confirmed, but reliable leaks have indicated that the story will revolve around Wakanda going to war with the forces of Atlantis.

Official plot details are still under wraps, but we have been assured that the MCU sequel will honor the late Chadwick Boseman while continuing the legacy of his character, T'Challa. We may now know how Marvel and director Ryan Coogler intend to achieve this, but it's quite spoilery, so click here if you want to know more!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 11, 2022.

Water inside a flooded building with people in scuba gear teases Namor and Atlanteans? Interesting take.....

@CorndogBurglar - we seriously had an article where they claimed a name on a sword teased another characters betrayal, so I think in general people just don't know what words mean anymore.

Hmm sadly Letitia Wright and Tenoch Huerta are taking away all the excitement I had for this film :/ if only they could have recast T’Challa or made either Dani Gurira or Winston Duke the leads :(

@MisterDoctor217 - What did Tenoch Huerta do?

@DalekCraigWasson - He's apparently been a lightning rod on twitter the last year. Then again, that place is a cesspool. I don't know all the ins, the outs, the what have yous, but if it's on there, it surely offended someone.

@DalekCraigWasson -

He’s been victimizing himself because he is a dark skinned Mexican. He is making this big deal about bringing down every white person, when in Mexico it’s not even racism but classism the main problem. It’s not like in the US. He’s always making dumb comments and posts on Twitter and everyone calls him out for it.

“Brainwashed values”

Explain.

@MitcHendricks - “brainwashed values” how ironic. The same people who say the vaccine makes you magnetic, has a tracking chip, and say that 5G towers will hurt people with the vaccine think others are brainwashed?

I think Huerta as Namor is a great casting is true. I liked him in Narcos Mexico (was even expecting him in S3 when I started watching last week, but guess its been too long for me to remember what was going on)

@bkmeijer - i havent seen anything huerta has been in but i wouldve gone asían for the role given there arent many asían heroes for now in the mcu and the fact he's mostly drawn as asían looking in the comics, My pick wouldve been Daniel dae Kim but alas i'll look forward for how this film plays out

Dude we have Shang-Chi already, it’s about time we had a major Latino superhero in the MCU. I just wished they had chosen another actor.

I wasnt on board with recasting Chadwick, but it was better than...whatever they are doing.
