Yesterday, a new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Funko Pop found its way online that all but confirmed Shuri as the MCU's next Black Panther. The markings on the mask matched the tribal makeup we saw the scientist don in 2018's Black Panther, and her taking over the role was always the logical next step.

A LEGO set, titled "Shuri's Sunbird," has now been officially revealed and it leaves little doubt that T'Challa's sister is taking over the mantle from her brother.

She doesn't have the mask, but that's quite obviously the new Black Panther costume. Another recent LEGO set showed Shuri decked out in this suit accompanied by M'Baku and Okoye. That takes them out of the running, while Nakia's presence here confirms she won't be Black Panther, either. By process of elimination, that makes Shuri the obvious choice of successor.

Actress Letitia Wright has unexpectedly become something of a controversial figure thanks to the pandemic. Her outspoken opinions about not getting vaccinated reportedly caused issues on set, and there's speculation that the ending of the movie may have been reshot to have her give up being Black Panther so someone else can hold the title.

That's a shame, but not necessarily inconsistent with the comics as Shuri becomes Black Panther after T'Challa is no longer able to serve Wakanda in that capacity, and there isn't really anyone else who served in that role for more than a handful of issues.

With that in mind, we'd have to argue that Winston Duke's M'Baku should be the next next Black Panther, though something tells us we won't find out for sure until the movie is actually released. You won't need to wait long for this Black Panther: Wakanda Forever LEGO set, though, as it starts hitting stores on October 1.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11.

Is this paragraph even necessary?

“ Actress Letitia Wright has unexpectedly become something of a controversial figure thanks to the pandemic. Her outspoken opinions about not getting vaccinated reportedly caused issues on set, and there's speculation that the ending of the movie may have been reshot to have her give up being Black Panther so someone else can hold the title.

That's a shame, but possibly for the best if what we've been hearing about Wright is true”

You write the same thing every single time you mention Wright.
It has nothing to do with this topic, but is another way for you to inject your opinion.

If you eliminate the part that I cut and pasted the article is far better and gets to the point while eliminating opinion.

@TyrantBossMedia - Most normal people who aren’t a member of the Branch Covidians couldn’t care less what pharmaceutical products other humans choose to ingest.

@TyrantBossMedia - Are people and journalists no longer allowed to have an opinion?

@VileBlood - imagine being a grown ass man who has been on this site for years and is STILL bitching about the editorializing in articles written by the sites chief editorializer, and getting your Jimmies so rustled that you have to tag the site owner on a Tuesday morning.

It was less her vaccination views, any individual should be able to decide their own right on medical treatments especially things that remain in the body, more so that she was just using it as an excuse to try and demand more money from the studio. She eventually agreed to the vaccination in exchange for a higher paycheck

So Josh is not even grasping what the controversy is about.

@mountainman - "Branch Covidians" I like that and need to start using it more often IRL. Ty for enhancing my sarcastic vocabulary with another snarky word to piss people off right to their faces! Cheers!

@OmegaDaGrodd - I mean, people who have been coming to this site for years are constantly talking trash about Josh. He probably gets over 100 comments bashing him every day. It's pretty ridiculous. If it's so bad then why do these people keep coming here? Or why do they click on his articles? They complain every day, but continue supporting him by giving his articles multiple clicks and comments lol.

@CorndogBurglar - I swear this has been happening for at least a decade. this site literally started putting the author's name on the thumbnail in response to people complaining about Josh's click bait, and yet here we are in September 2022 and guys are still climbing into hell and bitching about the heat. Hilariously clownish behavior

@VileBlood - We had a discussion about this on here with @natebest a few weeks ago. He agreed that contributors need to keep opinions out of their article or mark them “opinion”. That is why you now see “news” and “opinion” posted at the top of articles.

So the short answer to your question: No but they can’t put them in an article marked “news”.

@TyrantBossMedia - I thought they added "opinion" tags to the articles for this reason...even though this one isn't marked as such...

@CyberBishop - The people who are in the cult need a term to describe them. The ones who get mad at every person who didn’t get the vaccine, even though we’ve known since around March 2021 that it doesn’t stop the spread and should have been a personal choice. The people who still think any mask besides a well fitted N95 will make any difference whatsoever. The people who refuse to acknowledge the data showing that the lockdowns of 2020-2021 were nothing short of a disaster. The people who followed those ridiculous arrows in grocery stores or stood on their assigned circles in public places. It’s certainly not science so it has to be a cult.

@OmegaBlack13 - I didn’t initiate it genius. The conversation was already started in the comments by Nate when he wrote the article about shutting down comments altogether.

You might want to actually educate yourself before you continue to make ludicrous comments and failing at your “gotcha” moments.
