Following that jaw-dropping new trailer, Marvel Studios has released an awesome new gallery of posters for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

These come our way courtesy of IMAX, RealD 3D, 4DX, ScreenX, and Dolby, the companies behind just some of the ways you'll be able to watch the Black Panther sequel this November. They're all pretty cool, with a new look at pretty much all the main cast members we'll see in the movie. 

Unfortunately, Ironheart doesn't receive a great deal of the spotlight, though we're guessing that's because Marvel Studios would rather focus on the new Black Panther. Her awesome costume is highlighted here, as is the MCU's exciting new take on Namor the Submariner. The collision between those two promises to be epic, and we can't wait to see more of them in action.

Something tells us the two trailers we've seen for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever barely scratch the surface of what's to come in Phase 4's final chapter, though that's far from a bad thing. 

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli. 

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, opens in theaters on November 11.

Attuma's bone that he wears on his head (is that a hammerhead bone?) makes some sense.

I don't get the feathered headdresses for Namor and Namora though. Do they only wear those when going to land?

On another note - I'd be shocked if Kukulkan doesn't show up. With Thor 4's exploration of god pantheons and Moon Knight bringing in Egyption gods, it sure seems like they are trying to play that aspect of the universe up right now.

@mountainman - Well in the trailer they refer to him as the "feathered serpent god", hence the headdress that looks like, well, a feathered dragon (almost like some traditional Chinese dragons that kind of look like lions with the shorter snout). Also, he does have those wings (or fins depending on how you want to interpret them) on his ankles which may contribute to that moniker as well. Either way, it seems like there's an explanation for it, but it looks like the headdresses are ceremonial as we don't see him wearing them in battle (which would probably look kind of silly anyway and not be very practical).

I guess I look at it like this: if I were the(presumably single) king of an undersea kingdom with a pretty great body and unlimited power and wealth, I'd be sporting my bling whenever I could to maximize my chances of hooking up with those hot hot fish-ladies. I mean, that whole image of him sitting in those megalodon teeth with the headdress and spear looking all brooding and such is enough to get any fish-chick... wet? Okay, I'll pay my tab and go now.

@StSteven - I get all of that. I'm just getting stuck on feathers under water. It's quite obviously ceremonial. The Wakandans wear ceremonial garb that isn't intended for battle as well.

@mountainman - Yeah, I see your point (I was wondering myself "Where did they get all the feathers from?"). However, as HeeroG points out below, they could actually be fins that look like feathers, and not actual feathers. As someone with a serious saltwater aquarium addiction (110 gal. reef tank), I've had plenty of fish, including the mighty lion fish below, with fins that look like feathers. That being said, when they end up dying on you because of some slight unbalance in the water chemicals and you're scooping hundreds of dollars worth of dead fish out of your tank and your wife is giving you a hard time because of all the money you just wasted and you're starting to think that maybe a nice healthy cocaine habit would be cheaper (and more productive)... those feather fins don't look so much like feathers out of the water. So it will be interesting to see if they are wearing the feathers (or whatever) out of the water.

@StSteven - That’s fair. It seems like they are taking inspiration from Quetzalcoatl, which had more bird like feathers. But to reimagine them as the fin/like feathers some fish have, could work.

@mountainman - Yeah. Plus we don't know if his angle "wings" are actually feathers wings or fins, as they have been represented in the comics recently (like flying fish). Plus, knowing that Talokanians (eeesh, it's going to take a while before that term rolls off the tongue) can come on land, they could have just gathered feathers along with whatever they need and taken it back down with them. Especially Namor who looks mostly human.

Either way, I guess until we learn more about their culture and habits, at this point speculation is just mental masturbation.

@mountainman - since they descend from a Mesoamerican tribe, many of which have feathered headdresses. It make since they will have them. Namor has feathered wings on his legs. It’s not far fetched.

@TheSuperMex - It was literally just a weird mental hangup about the impracticality of underwater bird-like feathers. It's fine. I think it looks cool and I understand the real-world inspirations. It seems impractical to me, but likely the head pieces are only ceremonial so being practical isn't the focus for them.

Can Shuri even fight? she showed no fighting skills in the other films, guess those gauntlets and suit will be her means to not get backslapped by the MCU baddies lol

@newmutantsRETURNS - she was asked if she wanted to take part in the warrior falls bout. That question implies she’s probably had some Royal training just as someone who is in line to take the throne. Nowhere near what T’Challa was prepped for of course.

That being said, a thinker like her I’m sure will make sure her cognitive abilities help make up for her gifting prowess being lacking for the time being.

@Origame - …yes it can easily be presumed that she’s had some sort of defense training. Even to use the gauntlet that she utilized take a combat prowess. Im not saying she’s some master but it’s not absurd to suppose she knows how to defend herself to some extent

@GhostDog - first of all, she's a pampered princess living under the protection of the dor milage (don't care how bad I misspelled that). The only reason she would need training would be if she was up for black panther, but with her older brother it's clear they focused the training on him.

Second, training with a firearm like the gauntlet is very different from the hand to hand training necessary for a black panther. And her use of gauntlets really don't convey any kind of formal training, and I wouldn't be surprised if the gauntlets were built with target assist.

@GhostDog - I don't think you do. In tradition (which black panther 1 made a big deal over), the eldest son is considered next in line to be the king. Shuri wouldn't be considered the usurper.
