The plan earlier this year was for Marvel Comics to release a number of new Black Widow titles to tie into the film, and while those have since launched, COVID means things played out differently than expected. To begin with, Black Widow wasn't released in theaters this past May, and it recently vacated its November slot for one that's a year later than originally planned.
Marvel Comics is still releasing its Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired Black Widow variants in the coming weeks, however, likely because it's too late to delay them any further.
The artwork here is stellar, with work by Chris Samnee, Stefano Caselli, and Jen Bartel for titles like Widowmakers: Red Guardian and Yelena Belova, Black Widow: Widow's Sting, and Black Widow.
Toys and merchandise for the Black Widow film have been available since early this year.
