Black Panther in Captain America 3?

Black Panther in Captain America 3?

Since Phase 3 is set, we won't be getting a stand-alone Black Panther movie, but we might actually see him in Captain America 3. He might play a super major role in starting the Civil War...

Phase 3 of the Marvel movies is already set. We will be getting Captain America 3 and Doctor Strange in 2016. In 2017 we are getting Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and though it wasn’t officially announced, it’s safe to say that Marvel 2nd movie in 2017 will be Thor 3. Unless Marvel is going to have more than 2 movies per year, we will have only these 4 movies between Avengers 2 and 3. This means that we won’t get a stand-alone movie for Black Panther.

However, I do believe that we will see Black Panther in Phase 3, and he will make his debut in Captain America 3. There some rumors that Black Panther might actually appear in Avengers 2, since they filmed some scenes in Africa, but just because they filmed there, that doesn’t mean that in some scenes in the movie will actually take place in Africa.
After all, the Avenger’s New-York battle was actually filmed in Cleveland. Plus, Avengers 2 is already packed with new characters, adding Black Panther to the mix will be just too much. Plus, I want Black Panther to have a chance to shine.

So let’s say that we won’t see Black Panther in Avengers 2. I believe that he will appear in Captain America 3, and the Black Panther stuff will play major part in Capt 3.

We all know that Marvel is setting up the Civil War.
I believe that Avengers: Age of Ultron won’t have a happy ending. The Avengers will defeat Ultron, but it won’t be a happy victory, since they will pay a big price for it.
Ultron will almost bring the apocalypse on mankind, so humans won’t be very happy. The world will lose faith in their heroes, after all the destruction that was caused in their battle with Ultron, so superheroes are no longer being idolized.

The Avengers themselves will have a rift, as some members (like Captain America) will be angry with Iron Man for creating Ultron in the first place. So the Avengers will split, Thor will go back to Asgard, Capt will start a new team of Avengers, and Tony will be little lost and he might turn to the bottle.

Ulysses Klaw will be introduced as one of the villains of Capt 3, and he will be working for Hydra. The big baddy of Capt 3 will be Baron Zemo (but they really have to do something with the pink mask, just too silly).

Hydra will be able to locate Wakanda. The city/nation was hidden for many years due to their Tec, but now Hydra can see them. Hydra will go there for the Vibranium. Hydra and the Wakanda people will get into a fight, and during that fight T'Chaka, the king of Wakanda, will get killed, throwing the nation into chaos. Young T'Challa will take his father’s place as the king and as the Black Panther.

Once the world will learn about Wakanda, they will demand Wakanda to become an official country, part of the world. But the Wakanda people don’t like outsiders, and they will not let the government enter their city. The government will get pissed when they will learn that Wakanda has super advanced Tec, and they will see them as a threat.

The government will turn to Tony Stark, since all other members of the Avengers went underground, to help them deal with the Wakanda situation. They will also be talks about registration of superheroes and people who have superpowers of super Tec, since all of these people are too dangerous.

After the death of his father, T'Challa will want vengeance. He won’t know that Hydra was behind his father’s death, so he will blame the government, believing that they killed his father to scare Wakanda into submission.

He will get his Black Panther armor. Yes, and armor. I want the Black Panther suit to be made out of Vibranium. The suit will be very flexible, so he could movie like a Panther, but it will be almost indestructible and very powerful.

Captain America and his new team will go to Wakanda, to try resolving the heated situation with peace, before war begins. Capt will actually won’t have his shield, because it was in Avengers 2 Ultron will break the shield, and Capt will be shield-less in the first part of Capt 3. By the end of the movie he will get a new shied, also made of Vibranium, as a present from Black Panther. But that will come later, first they will fight.

Yes, the first time Captain America and Black Panther will meet, they will have a big fight. I want to see that fight from the animated show of Black Panther come to life.

After the fight, Capt will try to recruit Black Panther to the team, but T'Challa will go solo. He will actually travel to America. Hydra will make him believe that a US senator was the one that ordered the hit on his father, and Black Panther will try to take him out. Captain America and his team will be able to stop him last minute, but it will be too late. Once a superhero goes after a US senator, there is no turning back. The government will soon begin the registration act.

After that, Capt will be able to recruit Black Panther to his team, and Captain America’s new Avengers will go to stop Hydra from taking over Wakanda. Along the way, Captain America might get into a heated convection with Tony Stark, and who knows, we might see the two fight, setting up Civil War.

I don’t know how Bucky will play into all of this. But my theory is that after he got his shit together, he will start hunting down Hydra members, to get payback for what they did to him. He will also come to Wakanda to kill Baron Zemo.

I don’t want any Infinity Gems in Captain America 3, since Marvel just using them as a Magoffin. I don’t really like the way they’re using them, but I think it’s better to see the gems/stones in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Doctor Strange. I want Captain America 3 to be just like “The Winter Solider”, a political thriller.

Good read, good article.

If T'Challa makes a cameo, than sweet. To introduce him would be great, but he needs his own film first. It's lazy and chicken sh!t if Marvel uses Cap3 to tell the story of Wakanda and T'Challa. If that happens than perhaps Marvel is racist. No Rhodey in Avengers, and no solid confirmation on Falcon being in AoU or Rhodey being more than a cameo.

To keep them off of the Avengers roster but add Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch would be completely wrong in my opinion.

Also believe Wakanda will be revealed at the end of AoU. I too believe Klaw will be working with Hydra, there was a pic awhile back of some stunt doubles and others on the set of AoU. One guy seemed to have a look very similar to Klaw, that damn beard.

I truly hope we get a Black Panther film that takes place entirely in Wakanda. Have the film take place during AoU. Hydra and Klaw find Wakanda, strike deal with M'Baku.

Again great article.

"Once a superhero goes after a US senator, there is no turning back. The government will soon begin the registration act."
except the superhero in question is a african king, war would seem more likely. and i think it would be silly to involve black panther in civil war when you consider the US government has no jurisdiction outside of the US.

Really nice article. As much as I want T'challa, I do not want his story told in Cap 3. There is too much going on already with Civil War. But a cameo would be nice.

Captain America isn't going to be mad about Stark creating Ultron. Its not like was TRYING to create a murder bot that hates humans. People make mistakes and Cap is all about forgiveness.

What he WILL be mad about is when Stark joins the government and starts trying to put a leash on super heroes. Thats what will cause the fallout between those two.

After AoU, the government will try to put a stop to unregistered and unsupervised heroes. Stark will join the government due to feeling guilty for creating Ultron and almost killing the world.

They won't do Guardians 2 and Thor 3 in the same year. Faige said they want to do an established franchise and a new franchise every year. Also for BP to be introduced in A2 or Cap 3 isn't a slight on the character at all. Personally I think he's better in a team then solo.

I agree we will probably see him in the stinger for Ultron, and he will be featured in Cap 3. I think that perhaps if Cap dies at the end of Cap 3, he will return to Wakanda (like Thor/Asgard in Avengers 2) and his solo film will be about his return to his home country.
