This new Captain America: Civil War deleted scene comes courtesy of USA Today, and unveils a moment between Natasha Romanov/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) that wound up on the cutting room floor.

In it, Widow drops by Panther's "cell" for a little chat, following the events of the freeway fight which let to several of the heroes being taken into custody. It seems The King of Wakanda was going to be granted permission to take Bucky with him before the wily Winter Soldier made his escape.

“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Captain America: Civil War hits Blu-ray & DVD September 13.

Even in civvies, he's infinitely more badass than any MCU character thus far, save for maybe Punisher.

That's an accomplishment.

Good work, James Brown.

What I like about Civil War are these type of moments, when the heroes TALK. They converse, they have a discussion. And through some brief and subtle dialogue, you get a peak into who they are.

That 'psychological evaluation' jab by Panther was great. Widow is always trying pull back the veil on others, subtly dig into them without letting them know. She's always "reigning the terrain." Playing the field. But T'Challa is too smart for that and I like how they show that. T'Challa sees through Widow's bullshit.

Where as Cap, like in TWS, will react to Widow's head-games with an aggressive response, feeling he's being messed with, T'Challa keeps it James Bond cool and is blunt.

T'Challa lookin at Widow like:
