Chris Evans And Anthony Mackie On How 'Winter Soldier' Fits Into CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Another couple of very fun video interviews with Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie have surfaced, and they both feature some cool new details about Captain America: Civil War. Where does Bucky fit into things, and just how much of an Avengers movie is this? Read on for details...

Both of the interviews below are well worth checking out (particularly to see Chris Evans constantly trying to touch the face of Anthony Mackie much to his co-star's discomfort), but as I mentioned above, it's what they have to say about where The Winter Soldier fits into the story which is no doubt the most notable reveal here. "The relationship between the three characters is more so a bond of kindred friendship," says Mackie on how Bucky fits into Captain America and The Falcon's bromance. "My respect for Cap helps me to help him find Bucky because I know how much that means to him, knowing where he's come from and everything and what he's gone through to this point. It's more so of an understanding and respect than it is three guys chumming around having a good time." That actually sounds a lot like how their relationship played out in the comic books.

Evans meanwhile was quick to emphasise that the friendship between Steve and Sam is still going to be a major part of Captain America: Civil War. "You've got to understand, Cap coming off the last movie, Falcon's the one guy - having known the least in terms of history - he actually trusts the most. There's a really nice kniship between these two characters and they do a really good job of picking up where we left off." As for whether this busy follow-up to Captain America: The Winter Soldier feels more like an Avengers movie than another solo outing for his character, Evans added: "I don't know if it feels like an Avengers movie having been on an Avengers movie where you have to really balance a lot of storylines. They do a pretty good job of understanding the arc of what the story needs." What do you think about these latest details? Sound off below!
