Emily VanCamp Set To Return As 'Agent 13' In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Captain America: Civil War has added yet another cast member. According to Deadline, Emily VanCamp will return as Agent 13; the S.H.I.E.L.D. operative who was assigned to keep an eye on Steve Rogers in The Winter Soldier by posing as his neighbour, Kate. The character is actually the niece of Peggy Carter -- something Rogers is bound to dicover at some point. Will it be in Civil War? Sharon's exact role in the plot is being kept under wraps of course, but I think we can at least safely assume she'll be siding with Cap when it all goes down.

VanCamp will join Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow / Crossbones, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, and Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther. The film is set for release on May 6, 2016.

Cool to finally get confirmation. Hopefully she gets a bigger role after being introduced in The Winter Soldier...though she actually got a pretty neat arc in TWS in her limited screentime, somehow.

Is it just me or is this movie seeming overstuffed?

I mean we will be introducing Baron Zemo, Spider-Man, and Black Panther while having Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Crossbones, Falcon, Hawkeye, Black Widow, perhaps Vision, Scarlet Witch, whoever Daniel Radcliffe is playing, perhaps War Machine, Sharon Carter, and if there's time they will also have Caption America.

I'd hate to be the Russos or the writers trying to balance it all out. Hope they kill it though.

So Hulk and Thor are the only established characters NOT going to be in Civil War. Just say that Marvel. Would be a whole lot easier. Can't wait for this film. This is like practice for the Russos. They did an excellent job on WS. But Infinity War 1&2 are going to be the real challenge.

@LEVITIKUZ Can't imagine all of them having lots of screen time though outside of Cap, Tony, BW, Winter Soldier and maybe BP since he's integral to the plot

I hope the Russos can manage these many characters. One of the things I remember from the first Avengers movie was that Whedon was picked because of his ability to balance multiple characters, but AOU seemed to test those limits. While I suppose testing the Russos in Civil War is a prelude to the presumably much, much larger cast in Infinity War, I'm thinking they're going to have to extend the run time by about an hour just to do justice to all the characters.

Evans teased that part of Cap's development in this will be forming a new romantic relationship, or seeing if he even can.

Yea there was a script details leak on 4chan last night. 50/50 chance it was bullshit but the story sounded tight and there were some big badass moments for crossbones, hawkeye, spidey, wanda..
