RUMOR: This Is Who Switches Sides In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Many Marvel fans expect best friends, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) or Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) to switch sides from their respective teams in the Russo Bros.' Captain America: Civil War. But perhaps that scenario is a little too obvious... Spoiler Warning

In Captain America: Civil War, it appears that Team Iron Man received all the heavy firepower while Team Captain America is comprised of agile, versatile stealth fighters.  When it comes down to an all-out battle, it would appear that Iron Man's squad vastly outmatches Steve Rogers' forces in terms of sheer power.  This had lead many comic book fans to surmise that someone from Iron Man's team will switch sides at some point.   The latest rumor from That Hashtag Show purports as much, and names The Vision as the member that will join Captain America's ranks by the end of the film (they were DEAD ON with their spoilers for Vision in Age of Ultron).  The rumor further goes on to state that at the end of the film, Vision will fly off into space for an undisclosed journey.

Of course, even if the Vision does indeed switch sides, there's nothing that says he will be the only one.  There's a distinct possibility that the several Avengers could decide to defect to the opposing team before  the end credits role.

What do you think of this rumor? Does it sound plausible? While keeping your grain of salt handy, take the conversation to the comment section below to let us know what you think. CA: Civil War will be released in North American theaters on May 6, 2016.

Honestly, Vision being on either side is VASTLY unfair. I look forward to how they'll handle the fact that he's literally invincible, and none of them have even the slightest chance of even kind of hurting him.

Won't be easy, I'm sure.

If they write Vision into Warlock's place it will be a terrible mistake. Yes Vision has already been introduced. Yes that makes him make the most sense to lazy writers who don't want to write in new characters. But Adam Warlock is why I went on to read so many other comics since I was a child. His story was just like this too.

Would be interesting if true. Can't wait for this movie!!

Oh, thought I'd share this too. A week from Friday (Nov. 6th), I'm going to see the Russo Brothers speak at a luncheon event in my city. I'm really excited!! I really hope I get to talk to them, or at least ask them a question or two.

I think everyone will see how far gone toney has gotten and that is what will cause them to make the switch........ but why will vision take off into space at the end of the movie is the better ?

@Superherodude1
Him going to Earth doesn't makes sense to me anymore if he does get it from Vision in Space. At that point its like "I have all the power in the world!....Now lets go to Earth! :D"

Vision is gonna go kneel before Thanos and let him rip the gem out of his head

@FuMoe

There was already a casting call for The Magus in Infinity Wars part 1, so he won't be replacing Warlock, but we could see Vision meet Warlock which would be intriguing.

Does Vision fly off into space due to the gem in his head?
How much is he 'connected' to this gem as far as what he can get from it and what it can get from him.
We have seen a beam emanate from it but what else does it allow him to do?
If he falls face down and the gem touches the ground will the planet be destroyed?
Will it call him 'home' into space to meet Thanos??
Will he feel a disturbance and go out to find it?
Questions, questions, questions...
He is such an unknown right now I hope they really explore him and the gem.

I'm not sure if I believe it but it definitely seems likely and him going to space seems like a cool idea, if he showed up in Thor: Ragnarok that would be cool, but do I want that to happen.................I honestly don't know, I love Thor's worlds and lore to death, so do I want other characters coming in? It could work, but I'm just not sure how.

I've been saying this! This gives more credence to them ending Civil War like the comics.

Still holding out for the death of Cap!

Vision flies into space...takes the role of Silver Surfer.
Works with Drax (being the shortsighted dimwit he is) and tries to confront Thanos...loses...badly...returns Mind Gem-less to team up with the rest to confront Thanos.
