With just over a week to go, it makes sense that Spider-Man is making some very brief appearances through promotional TV spots for Captain America: Civil War. From the sounds of it, Peter is just as awestruck as we are! Check out some great new footage below!

UPDATE: Another TV spot has made its way online, with even more footage!

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. With an all-star cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, with William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016

Did his accent come out when he said fan...and I know he's supposed to sound young but he sounds 12 like omg...and another thing Tom Holland has never read comics which isn't a bad thing since he's not a writer or director but could he have atleast read some since he's gearing up for a solo franchise that's my 2 cents I guess

@SuperbatSpider1003 - I believe the accent was intentional.

@hufflepuff69 - it looks better in the film. This is unfinished footage

They cut these spots DURING THE EDITING process; when everything is still unfinished. Trust me, Iron Man and the background don't look as CGI as they do here. It looks better in the film. There's still one or two scenes that are obvious cgi, but overall everything in the film looks great.

I'm just so happy to have SPIDEY TALKING TO CAPTAIN AMERICA and being in this world that a little choppy cgi isn't even a problem.

So Rhodey dies....? It appears to be a military funeral. Going to be an interesting take on the Civil War comics.

@MattBellissimo - OOOOOH, so you are implying that you know? Early screening I presume? :) I am trying to stay away from as much Civil War articles as possible so I may have missed something along the way and couldn't help myself. Too excited to see Spidey in the Marvel Movie Universe. So, then the previous king of Wakanda? OR maybe another surprise? I cannot wait for May 6th.

@Brightestdaze - Haven't seen it but I know 100% who is in the casket

Brightestdaze - 4/27/2016, 8:55 AM
@MattBellissimo - Hmm, but how can I be sure. I am kidding, I like big surprises. I have liked most of what Marvel has done in their films and really enjoy the direction they are headed. I am considering giving Agents of Shield another chance since it's connected to the MCU. First season just kind of bored me...can anyone tell me if it's gotten better?

@MattBellissimo - Interesting. May have to check it out. Multiple people tell me it's gotten a lot better.
