Well it's official Marvel goes 3-0 in their movies this year as Thor, X-Men First Class, and Captain America were all critically acclaimed.

We can only hope that next year not just Marvel but comic book movies as a whole follow this trend.

What was your favorite comic book movie this year?

It's hard to rate which is my favorite so I'll just say: Thor and Cap are both favorites...

as for First Class... it's with all of the X-men movies IMO aka trash...

come on Marvel buy the X-men and get them done right in the MCU!

1st thor (thor is in my top five favorite characters so i have alot of love for this movie.)

2nd x-men first class (it was good, but it featured too many characters that i didn't intrest me)

3rd green lantern (biggest letdown of the year)

seeing captain america friday so i think i may have a new number 1.

Marvel Studios is 2/0. Marvel properties are 3/0. I'm with you @otherside, Thor and Cap owned this summer :D

Liked all three. Thor and CA building towards The Avengers yet still be good single stories. And XMFC was strange. As a stand alone movie, I'd give it an A, but as a prequel, just a B. A few too many little things that don't add up in the X-Men timeline. But it's Fox making them, not Disney and Marvel.

Still have to see Cap, but I loved X-Men and Thor.

Green Lantern was good in my opinion but what was wrong with it was, apart from Ryan Reynolds & Mark Strong, everyone seemed bored in the movie and no wonder because of the other thing wrong with it, it was the type of superhero movie we had seen a million times. I like watching it but it was ultimately forgettable

[frick]ing finally... RottenTomatoes seriously was trying to screw Cap over, but judging from the domestic gross, it didn't work :P

Anyway, 2 days 'till I finally get to see this badboy!! :D

With much reservation, Rotten Tomatoes (read: Warner Bros) give Disney/Paramount Captain America a certified fresh.
