The Daily SuperHero has been covering the Cleveland filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier since Marvel Studios came to town in May for ComicBookMovie.com. Interesting things have been seen, reported and heard while on location and it's time to round-up some plot points from the Memorial Shoreway filming.

If you haven't been following The Daily SuperHero's Captain America 2 coverage closely, this is your SPOILER ALERT warning. But if you have, then you probably read most of the following plot points that have been covered over the past few weeks.

–Prior to the Shoreway scenes, it appears Steve Rogers and the Black Widow are hiding because they are being hunted at a mall (Tower City Center) by a mysterious S.H.I.E.L.D. Strike Team that appears to be led by a tall, dark-haired female (rumored to not be Maria Hill) and has Brock Rumlow and Jack Rollins on the team.

–That kiss in the mall. Was it to conceal faces from the Strike Team?

–While the Shoreway highway was closed for two weeks, many things were filmed. A chase scene was shot with the Winter Soldier riding on top of a car and he was seen shooting at the hood of the car and attempting to rip open the roof or a window in the vehicle he was on top of.

–This led to a face-off between the Winter Soldier and the Black Widow, who is assumed to be the one driving the vehicle the villain was on top of. Steve Rogers and the Falcon might also be in this vehicle as well. The Winter Soldier's goons were also following the vehicle and at some point the villain must jump back onto the roof of his goon's SUV.

–The Winter Soldier shoots a grenade launcher at a vehicle on the highway and this causes the Black Widow to jump down from the highway overpass to the lower street level.

–While on the street, the Winter Soldier and his crew have the high ground on the overpass and shoot down at the Black Widow. The villain and his goons all make their way down to the street, with the Winter Soldier jumping down and his goons use hooks on a random car so they can all swing down safely. At least one of the goons gets knocked off the overpass.

–When the bad guys land on the street level the Black Widow runs away, along with many extras, from the gunfire and the Winter Soldier blows up another vehicle but the Black Widow catches the villain off guard from behind. She jumps onto his shoulders for some close hand-to-hand combat action.

–Meanwhile, the goons seem to be shooting at Rogers and they blow up a Metro bus in the process with Rogers protecting himself from the bullets/explosion with his worn and beaten up shield.

–Falcon flies down from the highway overpass to the street level (wings to be CGed in post-production) and Cap'n has made his way over to the Winter Soldier and begins his hand-to-hand showdown with the villain. Rogers kicks him into the side of a vehicle hard and they both are throwing each other around between many vehicles.

–As our hero battles the villain, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Strike Team arrives with Rumlow. Rogers, the Black Widow and Falcon are all taken into custody.

Perhaps this action is somehow connected to the fact that in mid-May many scenes were filmed with Nick Fury being pursued and shot at by the Washington D.C. police and SWAT. Many other scenes were filmed including the police and SWAT hunting for someone at an the Cleveland State University Rec Center, scenes at an abandoned dam and at a gravesite. These locations have no known connection to the other scenes so we'll have to wait until the trailers are released to see their relevance in the movie.

In closing, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is still in Cleveland until the end of June but they have moved to interior locations which are all closed sets, from the public. Some of the known closed set locations include: a few residential homes, a church, the Cleveland Clinic, the Cleveland Museum of Art and it is assumed there are many more that are still unknown at the time of this column being published.

The Daily SuperHero is still digging for information on Captain America 2 in Cleveland for ComicBookMovie.com so definitely stay tuned.
