Chris Evans' 'Steve Rogers' Reports To The Berlin Set Of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Although he's not in his uniform, Captain America: Civil War leading man Chris Evans has now been spotted wearing civvies as Steve Rogers at a very intriguing filming location for the highly-anticipated movie in Berlin, Germany. Check out the new photos after the jump!

Following Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes, Chris Evans has now been sighted as Steve Rogers on the Berlin, Germany, set of Captain America: Civil War. Thanks to the Daily Mail, these photos show the actor wearing casual attire while at the city's Olympic Stadium, where the Marvel Studios production was apparently filming scenes underneath and around the venue. Also pictured are a couple of dummies which indicates some heavy action taking place in the scene(s). Furthermore, somewhere else Berlin, Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, Martin Freeman and directors Anthony & Joe Russo were spotting greeting fans and signing autographs. What do you think?

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.

Probably gonna cop some hate for this, but:

I am personally more excited for Civil War than I am Batman vs Superman. Yes, this is more than likely due to the fact that I DO prefer Marvel, and I admit that (that being said, I still love DC. Don't see why people think you can only like one, its an absurd notion), but it might also be that we are seeing this characters that have been developing relationships and growing alongside one another for so long now going head-to-head. Either way, I am excited for all Marvel and DC movies being released next year (including the Fox X-Men movies, though I am a bit more cautious with my excitement for Fox films to be honest), but this is my most anticipated film for next year, easy.

@Gutspinner I'm with you there. I totally get the appeal of BvS and how gloriously epic it looks, but it's really more about the novelty of seeing Batman and Superman (and Wonder Woman) on the same screen for the first time EVER. The Superman of Man of Steel didn't really seem to resonate with audiences as much as he could've, and we're only meeting this new Batman for the first time, so it's not really about them, per se (which isn't a diss, either).

With Civil War, both main characters are established and we fully understand their motivations and how that will bring them in conflict with each other. Civil War has been teased and hinted at for several movies now, so this definitely feels like a natural payoff, too. I can't wait!

@KurtWagner1225 That's fair! Superheroes fighting each other have always been a staple of the genre, so personally I ain't even mad about Bruce and Clark being at each other's throats. I just can't help but be more excited for Civil War.
