@TheIlluminati

Basically when things go south we get to see pretty much everybody against our hero - we have daylight attacks on members of SHIELD and we have high level political figures pulling the shots. Even the 'good guys' are not in the right here. Not sure how that compares to the 70's political thrillers, but its definitely a modern political thriller.

I REALLY hope that Marvel takes notes from these guys in regards to how they handle most of their heroic films. Cap looks like it's going to become one of the best trilogies out of the MCU.

@Almight You and your gif have expressed how I am feeling right now. From the second they announced this movie I knew it would be epic but seeing how it has resonated with the critics and the audiences who have seen it is just.. Overwhelming for me. I feel like I know how batman fans felt after TDK. Amazing time to be a Cap fan!!!

To be honest some of you might think the movie is like 1 minute too long at the middle (not me) but the 3rd act is really amazing.

@Equivocal

Well Marvel certainly wont be moving Captain America 3 - considering the second is looking to make a minimum of $600-700 Million. Not sure what DC is doing - but if Cap2 gets around $800 million then Cap3 will easily pass 1bn.

The movie was incredible, and I say it takes the #1 place from TDK because they really nailed both the hero and the villain in this. Captain America and the Winter Soldier both feel like they were ripped straight out of the comic books.
