Reviews for Captain America: TFA are embargoed right up until the 20th. But that hasn't stopped a few folks Tweeting their initial reactions. Nobody goes into too much detail, but if you are looking for an idea as to how the movie has gone down with a handful of net journos, look no further..
Hero Complex's Geoff Boucher tweets..
First react: "Captain America: TFA" is the first Marvel Studios film that presents a compelling on-screen romance.
From Aussie TV host Renee Bargh..
I just saw Captain America & I have to admit Chris Evans did an awesome job & was looking pretty fine! Looking forward to interviewing him.
Filmmaker Olivier Lebourg..
Wow. Captain America was way better than I expected. A bit like Rocketeer on steroids with a hint of Indiana Jones... LOVED it! They did such a great job with the character that I kinda wish we'd get a sequel before the Avengers. Even though I know it won't happen
The guys at /Film and Collider had this to say..
Me too. Me too. RT @colliderfrosty: I saw a movie tonight that I loved. Wish I could say what.
That may not be Cap of course, bit given the close proximity to Boucher's Tweet I think it probably is. So there you go, just a few reactions but all pretty positive. Now bare in mind,
Green Lantern also had a few of these type of reactions from advanced screenings, so it's best to wait for the actual reviews before we can get a better handle on things. But a good start at least.
