It's On! CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 To Square Off With BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN In 2016
Despite reports earlier today claiming that Warner Bros. were planning to release Batman Vs. Superman a week earlier to avoid Marvel's 2016 movie, The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that it's Captain America 3 which will take that May 6th spot two years from now!
If you needed any further proof that Marvel are incredibly confident about the success of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that Captain America 3 is the movie that they've selected to face off against Batman Vs. Superman in 2016. Some fans had been speculating that Doctor Strange would take that date, a move which seemed ill-advised (after all, a fairly unknown property against Batman AND Superman sounds like box office suicide). The site goes on to add that, "Warners may have been waiting to see what the Marvel title was before considering a date change for Batman-Superman, if the studio indeed blinks." With box office analysts dismissing the possibility of the two opening against each other and that report from earlier, expect to hear something official soon about Batman Vs. Superman...
